The app is fairly new, which I didn’t realize at the time I downloaded it, so bumps in the road are to be expected. The gojo story was cute, looking forward to more. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Just more AI trash *2024-10-04, version 1.0.73* Despite advertising itself as “written by writers,” it’s immediately obvious that the programmers used a ton of AI. On top of that, most of the art is machine generated too, and the rest is just stolen with no regard for its actual source or the artists’ consent. As for UI issues, the app crashed twice in the ten minutes I waste on it, doesn’t have a way to filter genres or content, and is filled with grammatical issues even before picking a story. I have written and published stories on here. I haven’t posted a review until now because I just have so much to say lol. And ALL GOOD THINGS. Shout out to the developers for being the absolute BEST. They’re awesome. Now first of all, I wanna talk about the ai thing. Whoever complains on here in reviews or in the discord obviously didn’t take the time to understand the app more or the creators of the stories. Nor did they ask in a respectful manner of how everything works. Is ai involved? Yes. It is an easier way for people that aren’t artists to create characters quickly for their stories. A lot of the creators on this app are more on the writer side than artist. A lot of writers from wattpad making their stories come to life as well. It’s an easier way to make your story interactive without spending days upon days drawing everything up. That being said—there are ACTUAL artists on the app and in the community as well. And if you ever want to just upload your own characters the developers are kind and will help you with that, but it requires actually reaching out to them on discord. The discord also isn’t just about making your ai characters and then splitting. It’s for when you have legitimate stories that you want to make interactive for people. This app is especially great for existing characters (like Jujutsu Kaisen characters) that you want to make fanfics of. It’s an app for people to freely create what they want. It is not strictly ai and you can use your OWN art if you wish. All it takes is a little communication. Whether people like it or not, ai is the reality of our world rn. There’s really no point in constantly complaining about it. And I suggest not joining the discord if that’s all you’re going to do. This is a nice community of people that are supportive and these are stories written by REAL people not ai. If you are that bothered by ai just don’t join at all. But their free services should not be abused either. Enjoy the app and community and don’t forget to be respectful if you join. I have a lot of people I’ve connected with on there and it’s always fun throwing around creative ideas with them. It's incredibly easy to use and brings my stories to life. I read a complaint about the app using AI, but for me, it's been a huge help. I can focus on writing without worrying about coding or paying for artwork. Plus, being able to generate scenes that resemble the beautiful, whimsical style of Ghibli films is ridiculously satisfying! And the best part?
