Welcome to YouUp: the alarm app that lets you and your friends wake each other up with personalized audio messages.

■ Set an alarm at a time you choose
■ A random friend gets notified, prompting them to send you an audio message
■ Your alarm plays as the audio they sent!

You’ll also see your friends’ reactions to the alarms they receive as well as the number of times they hit snooze. 

Worried you won’t get up? If your friend forgets to record an alarm, an audio will be drawn from their saved alarm library. When recorded, audios are required to reach a minimum volume threshold and are volume boosted when played.

me & my friend are extremely paranoid & get scared waking up alone. this app is exactly what we needed & we were super stoked to try it out but i made an account & i didn’t have a username & he didn’t have one either which made it literally impossible to add each other so we deleted our accounts & applications to restart. when we went to make an account, everything went smoothly until i tried to make an alarm. i made my alarm & clicked the next button & the app crashed. it keeps doing this no matter what. i don’t know what to do.

An alarm app requires phone number to log in, and mandatory, are you guys serious?

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Our requirement for a phone number is in place for the social aspect of the app to work. Adding friends, sending alarm audios, and a general personalized user experience is not possible without some log-in system.

This app is so fun, the only thing I would recommend is that you should be able to see past alarms from the gc. I wanna be able to save or at least hear alarms.

Everyday I wake up smiling because of this app. Whether your friends are wailing, or freestyle rapping about how you need to get up, you’ll be very amused. My only complaint is the app cannot work without the tab closed. Other than that, 10/10, perfect app!

i put 4 starts bc my friend forgets to put her alarm and i find the default one super scary, so i would love if they changed that😭
