## What is YT Rec Block?

YT Rec Block is a simple Safari extension for iPhone and iPad that helps make YouTube less distracting.

When enabled for youtube.com in Safari, it hides recommendation-heavy areas such as the home feed, related videos, end screens, and Shorts recommendation shelves. You can still use YouTube normally: search, subscriptions, channels, playlists, and direct video links continue to work.

The extension runs locally in Safari and does not require an account. It does not collect, sell, or send your browsing activity to the developer.

Important: YT Rec Block works on youtube.com in Safari. It does not change the YouTube app.
