One of my teachers makes me uses this and import it to canvas, good luck doing that. Also I’m pretty sure there is no way to view the videos you have previously recorded through the mobile app👍 ### 1/5 — Terrible Application *2023-04-28* In terms of user experience, logging in is already a complicated issue that required assistance let alone the poor app design in general. Any other streaming/uploading service is definitely better than this poor excuse of a model. Do not waste storage downloading this. ### 1/5 — Can’t even watch my lecture *2023-01-27, version 2.5.14* I was very sick during one of my lectures, so I assumed I could just use the Yuja video the next day. I was wrong. This app is so worthless its actually not even worth trying to watch my lecture. I can’t watch it on a browser, I must use the app, but with the app I cannot see the screen that my professor is sharing, nor can I hear properly. Nothing is organized so I could barely even find the lecture I needed, it was buried under other lectures from 10 months ago that Yuja thought I might want to watch (I don’t). The audio is distorted and not synced up, the video is cropped horrendously, and the captions don’t even work. -10/10, I am deleting this the minute I finish and never missing a lecture again. ### 1/5 — Universities Need To Stop Licensing Them *2023-01-17* You can’t use split view with this app so how are you supposed to take notes on the lecture you are watching. App works better than their trash site but its far from adequate ### 1/5 — Don’t even try *2022-11-14* I was trying to upload a video from my phone to YuJa hoping it would be easier on me but it wasn’t. I couldn’t even log in with my school email. Just a waste of space on my phone. ### 1/5 — Horrible App *2022-09-20, version 2.5.14* This app is ridiculous and I can’t believe schools like Lamar University are actually requiring this type of unreliable app to be a part of their program. The app is absolutely horrible and will not allow you to upload videos that are more than 30 minutes. It continuously say “not enough free space” as if you don’t have the room for the upload, yet everything is deleted in your library so you know for a fact you have the room. I really hate this app and I can’t believe Lamar is making us use it. This isn’t right by far. ### 1/5 — Please allow Split Screen for Adequate Functioning *2022-09-07, version 2.5.14* The lack of split screen support greatly hinders the usefulness of this app. I am unable to take notes while viewing lectures and have to turn to a different device. I will change my rating once split screen support is added, until then this app is not very useful. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-02-17, version 2.5.3* Every time I try signing in to my school on the app or website it just reloads the page. EVERY SINGLE TIME. No matter what browser app or not. Yuja will not let me log in and I’ve tried on multiple devices. The page loads okay but won’t get past single log in. If I could give zero stars I would. Wasted time downloading. Wasted time writing a review they won’t see. My school I tried logging into is UCR by the way so maybe it’s just that is the one that’s buggy. ### 5/5 — Works fine for me *2020-10-22, version 2.4* Wanted to watch videos on my phone and worked great. After I finally found the download feature I can now watch my lectures offline. ### 1/5 — Has this app ever worked? *2020-06-09, version 2.0* As others have said, would give this zero stars if I could. Loving using the 1.5-2x speed on my computer to play lectures multiple times, would have loved to use the same feature on my phone! I have tried downloading this app on my phone - and checked that I didn’t do anything wrong with our iT - as well as an iPad through a different iTunes account. Both times, I’ve been entirely unable to access videos! I cannot get videos to “load” or be viewable at all on the app even after signing in successfully! Besides the fact that my iPhone home screen is more entertaining than any “features” I can access through my YuJa account on my phone, this app is extremely clunky and difficult to navigate. I just want to be able to listen to and download my lectures to my phone.
