## What is Yukisaki?

Yukisaki starts from how much time you have, not from where you want to go.

Pick a departure station and how long you're willing to ride. The stations and towns you can reach in that time line up as ticket-shaped cards. On days when nothing comes to mind, the length of your free afternoon picks the town for you.

Yukisaki covers rail lines across Japan. Whether you live here or you're travelling, it works from wherever you happen to be standing.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose your departure station (you can start from your current location)
2. Choose the time you can spend, like "about 30 minutes"
3. Flip through the town tickets and head for the one that catches you

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Search by time - reachable stations worked out from rail lines across Japan
• Town tickets - what to see, the weather right now, and a map on a single card
• Dice trip - let the dice decide where you go. You end up in towns you would never pick yourself
• Drinks mode - bars and izakaya around the station, plus a rough last-train time
• Records - the towns you visited, walk notes and photos. Create an account and they follow you to your next phone

ACCOUNTS
Everything about finding a destination works without an account. Sign in with Apple or Google only if you want your records to carry over between devices.

GACHI OF GACHI (IN-APP PURCHASE)
Dice trip includes a hardcore mode where you never get to choose the destination yourself. Each run uses one Challenge Ticket (JPY 200). It is a one-off consumable, not an auto-renewing subscription.

ABOUT TRAVEL TIMES
Travel times are rough estimates based on local trains. Rapid and limited express services are not counted, so the real trip is often shorter than shown. Treat them as a rough guide, and check each operator for exact routes and departure times.

Town descriptions and spots: Wikipedia
Restaurants and bars: Hot Pepper Gourmet Web Service (Recruit)
Routes and last trains: Transit API (from operator GTFS / ODPT)
Weather: Open-Meteo
