## What is Yuko?

Yuko — Meal Balance Diary

Yuko is a lightweight meal diary for people who want to stay aware of their eating habits without the pressure of calorie counting. Instead of searching ingredient databases, you simply check off the food groups that appeared on your plate and record how you felt — then Yuko handles the rest.

Log a meal in seconds Select a meal slot — Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Snack — then tick the food groups present: Grains, Vegetables, Protein, Fruit, and Dairy or Alternatives. Add a fist-based portion size, a fullness level, your water intake, and the scene (Home, Office, Restaurant, Takeout, or Friend's). A note and an optional photo can round out the entry, but the log works just as well with text alone.

Daily balance score Each day receives a balance score based on how many food groups you covered, how many meal slots you filled, and how close you got to your water goal. There are no calorie targets and no body-weight inputs — just a clear read on today's rhythm.

Quick water tracking Tap Sip (50 ml), Half Cup (125 ml), Cup (250 ml), or Bottle (500 ml) directly from the home screen to update your daily water progress without opening a meal entry.

Weekly plate story and stats At the end of each week, Yuko compiles your logs into a Weekly Plate Story: average score, the food groups you covered least, eat-out frequency, and a seven-day water trend. A soft streak counter marks consecutive days where you logged anything at all.

Balance calendar, photo album, and history The Progress tab shows a 35-day balance calendar, a meal memory photo wall, and a saved gallery grouped by date. You can open any entry to review, edit, or delete it at any time.

Gentle local reminders Set optional daily reminders for a midday plate check, an afternoon water nudge, and an evening recap. A quiet-hours window keeps your evenings free from notifications.

Five local plate guides Plate notes includes five short reference guides — Five Food Groups, Soft Bento Template, Office Swap Notes, Restaurant Choice Review, and Dinner Hydration Wrap — available offline inside the app.

Coins and free saves Each day includes one free meal log save. Additional new saves and edits to existing entries use in-app coins. Browsing history, adjusting your water goal, viewing the weekly report, and using reminders are always free.

Yuko is a personal logging tool. It does not provide medical advice, nutritional diagnoses, or weight-management guidance.
