Do. Or upgrade to the app or online version if you want to loose any custom items you have added to your collection 

If you’re used to adding your own item to your collection, do not upgrade from the Mac/PC version.  I regret my decision to switch to the web/app. The “Add Custom” has been coming for over a year now. I used to enjoy this to catalog ALL of my Hallmark ornaments, Keepsake and non-Keepsake, now I can’t.

Just found out I cannot see my custom items in either the app or the online version.  A waste of time!

**Developer response:** Hi iTexas72! Today I added in the Add Custom item feature for the web version of YuleLog.

Please note it's only me here at YuleLog! I don't have the resources of a large company, so it takes me a little bit of time to roll out new features in a way that is safe and to ensure it will work for everyone.

You can see and now edit your custom items in the web version (or add new ones). I am working on adding in support for custom items in the mobile version now.

An easy way to catalog Hallmark ornaments. I have used this program for many years and am very pleased with it. I can access it from my phone to make sure I don't purchase an ornament I already have.

This app has been worth every penny when it comes to most Hallmark ornaments. But I would be willing to pay more to add database for ornaments from Disney, Jim Shore, Carlton Cards, Hallmark Red Box, etc.  There’s an opportunity there because there don’t seem to be similar apps for those brands.

It’s been trying to download list forever (at least 45 minutes.) I’ve been charged already. Don’t know who to contact for help.

Just a warning if you’re like me and assumed the app would be free or even reasonably priced. I appreciate all the work that goes into making an app like this, but I was disappointed to find out it’s $39.99 to use.

**Developer response:** Hi NJR1980! Thank you for your feedback. YuleLog has been around since 1995 and has always been a subscription service. While downloading the app is free, there is an annual subscription. This is to offer customers instant collection syncing across all their devices and providing up-to-date information for 15,000 Hallmark items.

There are costs for developing the application and hosting. At $3.33 / month, we think this is a reasonable amount. 

With that said, we do offer introductory offers if you want to try out YuleLog without committing to a subscription. Please reach out to me at sean@yulelog.com and I am happy to provide more information.

Cannot create a new account. Is site no longer operating? Says it is over 12 years old.

**Developer response:** Hi Mrs CCathy, the app was originally released in 2023. The 12+ rating means that the app is suggested for users 12 and older.

I experienced the same thing as another reviewer. I followed the password guidelines, but kept getting an error message with the password requirements. I removed the app and downloaded it again without any success.  I, too, will continue to keep track of my ornaments in a notebook.

I downloaded this app thinking this would be a great way to keep track of my hundreds of ornaments.  However, when creating my account for the first time I entered my password and the popup said I needed to make sure it had eight letters, one number blah, blah, blah…After attempting to correct this many times I just decided to give up!  Oh well, I guess I will continue to keep my inventory in the notebook I have been using for years.
