They don’t force adds or additional purchases on you, they’re purely optional! This space is the perfect place to enjoy your yumeship and f/o, and is basically everything I need as a yumeshipper. They have several different features that make the users experience feel way more gratifying than other apps. Super grateful for the lack of AI in areas like the messaging each other portion. I hope this app does really well and skyrockets in fame so we could possibly have one or two more free f/o slots. One recommendation I think would be cute (and I don’t know if these are features with premium since I haven’t looked into it) but being able to set exact times for notifications would be great! I get up way earlier in the morning so being able to set good morning messages for earlier and other messages later, etc, would be nice. Similarly, being able to make more than one love letter would be cute! ### 4/5 — Great app, but I have a few notes! *2026-06-11, version 1.0.0* I really like the app so far! The templates are really fun, and there’s a lot of cool stuff! There’s enough different features to where if you wanted you could probably manage your entire ship on it if you wanted! I can’t wait to put more stuff in the album. The app also has an incredible privacy policy, and as someone who cares about privacy that makes me very happy. (Genuinely one of the only times I’ve ever used an app and the TOS and Privacy Policy are actually readable and reasonably understandable!) I also have some notes for the devs as someone who really wants this app to succeed! 1) the sliders in some of the templates freak out and go all over the place when you try to use them, at least on my device. It makes it very difficult to use them 2) some of the text fields are too small for answers (the occupation field in the “get to know” template is probably the best example of this. You can hardly fit any real world job titles in there). It’d be nice if they could at least change size a little bit 3) this one is a bit less important, but it’d be nice if more of the text in the templates could be edited for more user freedom 4) also a bit less important but it’d be cool if users could use more than one template at once for the same ship, since a lot of them have different info on them I hope you take my thoughts well, developer(s)! I’m just hoping to be helpful❤️ It’s also slightly disappointing that you can only have one ship with the free option, but honestly with the price the subscription costs and how good the app is, I might end up subscribing if I can afford it, seems worth it imo! It’d be nice if there was more payment options (like a lifetime purchase), but I totally understand that they need to make money, and it’s hard to do that if people only get the lifetime option Very excited for the future of this app, it’s already very promising and fun. I have multiple f/os who I love dearly and equally, after I got done with one of my main ships, I WAS gonna add another one of my yumeships until…WDYM U GOTTA PAY FOR THAT? so many other useful features are locked behind that too. EVEN SIMPLY EXPORTING THE TEMPLATE (which idk the creator has given the devs permission to use) IS LOCKED BEHIND THAT. This app is basically what you can do in the notes app, any drawing app, and/or shortcuts. Can we stop adding subscriptions to these apps, bc I’m not gonna be paying you a single dollar for smth I can easily do on Ibispaint. The logo is AI and upon downloading the app, it shows you example photos that contain AI. Just because most people are ai coding now doesn’t mean it’s good. It makes the app feel cheap and lazy, no effort put in. ### 1/5 — I NEED TO BE ABLE TO ADD MORE YUMESHIPSS *2026-07-05, version 1.1.0* Sighhh ### 1/5 — Dev uses AI and lies about it *2026-06-11, version 1.0.0* I left a 5 star review before finding out that unfortunately the dev has been bragging about vibe coding the whole thing and using generative AI, even after they lied to me when I asked if the app used AI. Also asking for a subscription for multiple f/os is kind of wild. ### 1/5 — Dev is misleading, app is vibe coded, and they just want money from the community *2026-06-11, version 1.0.0* I was someone who came from the subreddit where the dev promoted this app. Upon further investigation, it appears their app is vibe coded despite saying they were different from another app that used GenAI. It’s clear the developer only wants money from the community and even question if making the app freemium was a mistake because of how much more they could have made after promoting it. The dev uses genAI and the app is vibe coded. If you are against genAI - especially undisclosed, I would not recommend downloading this app. Even features like multiple F/Os is locked behind a subscription. It’s clear the dev is looking to make a quick buck off of the yume community. ### 2/5 — Half of the features locked behind a paywall *2026-06-28, version 1.1.0* I got this app a month ago and thought it was rlly cute! I like the templates and such, and took a break from the app. When I came back, literally half or the features are locked?? Wth- I had photos on there from before this change! 😭 I’ll be switching over to the ‘Yumeship’ app with the heart logo. It’s pretty great and fun! Theres not much to do, but it’s still pretty nice for people to have fun with their F/O. I myself, ain’t a yumeshipper. But I feel like it would be a wonderful experience for people who really are. There is a downside, though. Most really cool and cute things are premium and cost money. But thats not a really big problem. ### 3/5 — Good but way too many stuff is behind a paywall and I’m broke *2026-07-24, version 1.2* I love the app but I just don’t like how most of it is behind a pay wall since I’m really broke ### 3/5 — why did the notification system change? *2026-07-19, version 1.2* this would be a five star review, but i had to take two stars off because of the recent changes to the notification system. previously, you could set multiple message options to send at a certain time, and it would randomly choose one of the options to send at that set time. that was the absolute best notification system! i loved it! it was my favorite feature on the app! now they've completely removed the randomization, ruining the feature. it's just one notification sent over and over (if you have it set to send every day). plus, if you had multiple options before, then it sends all of them at the same time. I just paid for a premium subscription, only to be rewarded with my favorite feature being ruined? If u wanna change ur theme for ur information page? Oh, you gotta pay. Wanna go ahead and change the color for ur theme of ur F/O’s page? Gotta pay. You can only have a single ship, and one ship altogether (without premium). This app is pretty cool, you do get to control ur F/O, but still. I’ve recently started using it and I’m loving it so far, though it is a little sad that the polyamorous option is closed off by a paywall. I do understand the fact that the developers need money for this, but this seems to be a common theme in apps for yumeshipping—as a person who’s polyamorous irl, it always annoyed me. Luckily, subscription isn’t too much, so it’s not too much of an issue.
