Only one complaint *2024-07-15* I love the concept of the app, it’s exactly everything I wanted. However, I do have one complaint. I just downloaded the app today and was going through and logging a bunch of restaurants I’ve been to in the past year and when I go into the map mode and click on a restaurant, even if I’ve been there multiples times and have uploaded multiple posts, the “check out the times you were here before…” all show today’s date (the date that I added the post) not when I was there. **Developer response:** Hi. Thanks so much for your feedback and enjoyment of the app. To respond to your concern, our app takes the time stamp from the photo and post them accordingly. Hence, it has the ability to backdate posts. However, if your photos were transferred from other devices or tampered impacting the timestamp, they would reflect date as photos. Hope this helps. Hope you have Yummi meals everyday. :) ### 4/5 — Social media app!!! *2024-06-28* This app i thought would help me kerp tabs on the places i eat, but its more of a sharing and rate app. There is no place to put my personal notes on what to try in the future or what i need to watch out for. Not crazy about everything written is posted online, even the notes i make to myself. Kinda irritating, as im not a social media person. I would love for there to be more feedback mechanisms to continue to improve the app. I wish there were a paid version to remove ads. Tried adding the name and it had a character limit that stopped me at “Steve’s Original Din”. Other than that It serves the advertised purpose ### 5/5 — The Food App I’ve Always Longed For! *2023-04-19* I’ve lived on the road full-time for seven years traveling the US in an RV and it never fails that when I return to an area I don’t remember what I ate and loved the last time I was there. Pointless! ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2024-10-15, version 1.10.8* App doesn’t work. It searches for restaurants in other states not near me or near my location. I searched 3 popular restaurants in Norfolk VA and they don’t even populate. I wanted to like this app as I’ve been looking for something like it to track my favs. But even the most basic function does not work. Look elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t have my city *2024-05-12, version 1.10.8* I’m sure the app is fine if you live in a supported city, but it doesn’t appear that any restaurants appear in St. Louis. They need some way to at least warn users if their location isn’t supported. Severely limits the usefulness of the app. Will be deleting. It was also bad at adding pictures. Now all the notes and pictures I made about all my eats, both good and bad, are gone. Can't even get into the app without walking through what seems like endless "tutorial" pop ups that don't make any sense. So unbelievably confusing. This is just a Instagram copy that's limited to just food. The extra features are useless. The food tinder feature is more useless than using actual tinder to find myself a real boyfriend. Love how it keeps track of the number of cities, cuisine, footprints and fans if you have any. You can keep Your food log private or public, it’s nice to see what others write regarding restaurants. The calendar view is awesome. The map feature is awesome as well. It shows all restaurants visited during that month. I have so many past entries to create and it’s very easy to do. I totally recommend this app if you need an innovative and easy way to log your restaurants along with your experiences. Love the fact that you can upload photos and the app geo tags them so your visits are in order. Highly recommend. I’m not sure why this app doesn’t have thousands and thousands of followers. Great way to tag photos of food that you have eaten, seen , tried or perhaps even want to avoid. I like how it automatically clocks when the dining experience took place and where it took place. Exactly what I was looking for *2023-07-22* Last night when my husband and I were having dinner, I told him I wish there was an app that would keep up with all the restaurants we visit. I have a terrible memory since having brain surgery last year and rarely leave my house of the doctor visits. We have to travel out of town for my doctor visits so when we go to a restaurant, it’s usually in a different town and I remember the restaurant light but then get in there and can’t remember what I ordered that I loved, and have to scroll through months worth of pictures to find the photo of the meal that I liked. Last night, I googled app to log restaurants and came up with this app. I started locking the meals we had before my and love that it’s able to use the Geo data from my photos to find the restaurant. I was really bad about remembering what sushi items I liked it restaurants as what is a Texas role at one place that I really love may be not the same ingredients of another restaurants Texas roll.. This also gives me the ability to create my notes but most importantly lets my family see what I like and where I’ve been. I saw that I had the opportunity to follow other people and I’ve asked my family members to join as well as we typically share photos of our food on a group chat. This has everything that I need. I did notice some latency in loading.
