## What is YummyYucky?

YummyYucky is the whole-day baby tracker that turns the chaos of feeding a baby into something calm, and eventually into a keepsake you will treasure.

Log the entire day in one place, most of it in a single tap:
• Feeding tracker: breastfeeding, bottle, and pumping, with running daily totals and a fresh-milk stash that nudges you before the milk turns, so "when did she last eat?" is a glance, not a guess.
• Sleep and nap tracker that reads your baby's own wake-window rhythm to flag the next likely nap and a reasonable bedtime, with a gentle "still asleep?" check-in. A heads-up, not a rule, and it is free.
• Diaper log: wet, dirty, or both, one tap, with the counts your pediatrician actually asks for.
• Solids and first foods: log every bite and call it yummy or yucky.
• Medication and vitamin reminders: the daily vitamin D, a course of antibiotics, whatever is on a schedule.

STAY AHEAD OF ALLERGENS
Introducing peanut, egg, dairy, and the other top allergens is stressful. YummyYucky keeps a simple allergen tracker so you can cover the nine, one at a time. Log whether it was a yummy or a yucky, add a photo, and if something goes sideways, get calm, specific ideas for working that food back in. Safety features are always free.

THE BABY FOOD GUIDE AND REAL RECIPES
Over 1,000 foods with age-by-age, sourced guidance: how to prep it, when it is safe, and how to serve it without the choking risk. Baby-led weaning or purees, we cover both, plus a texture ladder for the move from smooth to lumps to finger foods. When single ingredients are not enough, dozens of built-in recipes turn the food list into real meals, all choke-safe with no added salt and no honey.

IT BECOMES A KEEPSAKE
What feels like just surviving the day is quietly building the record you will want years from now: every first food, every milestone from the first tooth to first steps, a faces reel, sound clips, and video moments. Write letters to your baby for their future self, keep it all in a printable memory book, and let the little things resurface when you need them, like the first taste from exactly a year ago today.

IT GROWS WITH YOU
From a newborn's feeds, sleep, and diapers, through starting solids, into toddler meals and picky phases. When refusals hit, food-jag coaching gives you a calm, evidence-based plan built around the foods your toddler is actually pushing back on.

ANSWERS FOR YOUR PEDIATRICIAN
Walk into the visit ready: a checkup report with your averages, growth, and medications, a vaccine and immunization record you keep, and a reaction summary you can hand the doctor.

SHARE THE LOAD
Keep everyone on the same page: invite a partner and caretakers, open a private family feed to grandparents (they view for free), print a care sheet for daycare or a sitter, and get a "while you were away" recap when you are back. Hand a sitter or your pediatrician a read-only care summary that is time-boxed and revocable.

SAVE MONEY WHILE YOU TRACK
YummyYucky watches diaper and formula prices and tells you who is actually cheapest right now, with a restock nudge before you run out, so the everyday savings help offset what you spend.

BUILT FOR REAL PARENTS
• Works offline for the 3am feed, syncs when you are back online.
• Voice logging: say it out loud, transcribed right on your phone. With Plus, say a whole sentence and log the feed, the nap, and the diaper all at once.
• Parent-funded, never data-funded. We do not sell your data.

Grounded in mainstream pediatric guidance (AAP, NIAID). YummyYucky gives you awareness and answers for your pediatrician; it is not medical advice.

Whether you are tracking a newborn's feeds and sleep, starting solids and watching for allergies, or raising an adventurous toddler eater, YummyYucky grows with you, from baby's first bottle through first steps.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-23

This update brings a security fix to the layer the app runs in.

Also new since the last update:
- A bite logged offline is kept even when your phone is too full to save its photo.
- Only the person who added a letter, voice clip, milestone or vaccine record, or the baby's owner, can edit or delete it.
- The CSV download opens notes as the words you typed, not as spreadsheet formulas.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-06

A much smaller app.

• The app is now a much smaller download. It always loaded YummyYucky fresh, so it no longer carries a copy of the website it never used. Everything works as before.
• Logging now works on iPhones with iOS 15, and with iOS 16 before 16.4.
• Medicine checks now follow the label's dose for your child's age, and diphenhydramine (Benadryl) is on the medicine list. We still never suggest a dose.

Safety features are always free. Thanks for feeding the little ones with us.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-05

No signal? The app now says so, and gets you back.

• Open YummyYucky with no signal and you now see a page that says it cannot reach us, with a Try again button, instead of a splash screen that never goes away. It reloads by itself once your connection is back, and anything you already logged stays saved.
• Every page now opens inside the app, signed in, including a screen that reloads itself just after an update.
• Logging by voice now works in the iPhone app: tap the mic and say what happened. It is transcribed on your phone.
• Nursing timer: tap Left or Right to start, tap the other side to switch, and tap the running side to pause for a burp. It keeps time with the screen locked or the app closed, marks the side to start on next, and shows on the other parent's phone, where they can stop it too. The feed is logged once.
• Nursing plus a top-up bottle of pumped milk or formula now logs as one feed, from the feed sheet, the timer or by voice, and counts once.
• A new Activity tab for tummy time, baths, toothbrushing, time outside, story time, play and nail trims, with one tap to log each again.
• Fill in any diaper change later, quick taps included: the color, the consistency, a note, or a blowout. Blowouts are counted.
• Expecting? Add your baby with the due date, and Today helps you get ready until your baby arrives.
• A dose of acetaminophen or ibuprofen past the label's limit for the day now asks before it saves, counting the doses everyone logged.
• Two medicines said at once by voice are now heard as a dose of each.
• A bottle, a diaper or a bath logged by two of you counts once, and the app asks first.
• Safety checks now read every food on the plate, not just the first.
• Moving from another app? An import can now bring routines like baths and tummy time too.

Safety features are always free. Thanks for feeding the little ones with us.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-28

The full CDC milestone checklist is here, and the whole day got smarter.

• Your usuals: build a multi-food meal once (the multigrain cereal, the standing breakfast), save it, and log the whole thing in one tap. Every food still logs individually underneath, so a first taste of spelt still counts as wheat.
• Every tried food now shows when it was last served, and the Tried list sorts the longest-away foods to the top, so bringing a food back into rotation stops being a memory test.
• Cooking oils are loggable now, sesame oil included, with allergen handling that follows the actual protein.
• The CDC developmental milestone checklist, all of it: 2 months to 5 years, in the CDC's own words. Tick what you have seen and it is ready for the well visit. You see the age they are in and the one coming next. No score, no verdict, no opinion from us.
• Coming from another app? Bring the whole day with you. Upload the CSV your old app exported and we read the columns, whichever app it was: feeds, sleep, diapers, solids, temperatures, medicines, pumping, growth, and shots.
• Next nap and bedtime, now free. Log a few sleeps and YummyYucky reads your baby's own wake-window rhythm to flag the next likely nap and a reasonable bedtime. A heads-up, not a rule.
• Dozens of real recipes. First purées, nine-month combos, and toddler dinners from around the world. All choke-safe, no salt, no honey, and built from foods already in your library.
• It grows with your baby. Toddler meal ideas, a calm plan for the "I won't eat that" phase, and a texture ladder from purées to table food.
• Truer flavor tracking. Logging a meal with a few foods? You can now mark which one was the hit and which was the miss, so your baby's food map stays honest.
• Oatmeal is not wheat. We fixed the allergen tags, so logging oatmeal no longer counts as a wheat introduction.
• Bake with them. Wheat, oat, and almond flour and cornmeal are now loggable.
• A food library that passed 1,000 foods.

Safety features are always free. Thanks for feeding the little ones with us.
