Your account, at the front door.

• YumScout now opens on one sign-in screen — a single tap with Apple, or an emailed magic link. No password to invent.
• Tell us whether you're here to eat or to sell and you land in the right place. Food trucks go straight into the application.
• Signing up as a truck? There's a spot for a referral code right at the start, so a code from a friend applies long before you reach checkout.

For trucks: your orders, on your Square.
• Connect Square from your dashboard and every order you accept appears on your own Square account by itself.
• Display-only and entirely optional — your payouts, prices and refunds keep working exactly as they do today.

Plus another round of fixes from real kitchens.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-11

Messaging between you and the truck, rebuilt.

• Message a truck as much as you need to — no counter, no limit. A quick guard only kicks in on genuine spam, and it lets you straight back in.
• Vendors get one control that actually works: they can permanently end a chat if someone is abusive. Your order and any refund carry on exactly as normal.
• A chat stays open 24 hours if an order is cancelled, so "sorry about that" has somewhere to land, and closes when your food is handed over.

Your account, locked down.
• Change your email or password from Settings.
• Turn on two-factor authentication, with backup codes in case you lose your phone.

For trucks:
• Photos and videos publish in the background — post it and keep working instead of watching a progress bar.
• Every photo, video and caption is screened before it goes live.

Plus a week of fixes from real kitchens: story rings appear the moment you post, pull to refresh anywhere on a truck's page, and a handful of quieter things you should never have had to notice.
