Thanks ### 4/5 — DON’T SWITCH ON EMERGENCY STOP; DON’T RETURN HOME WHEN UNDER TREES *2020-02-17* DON’T SWITCH ON EMERGENCY STOP; DON’T RETURN HOME WHEN UNDER TREES!!! Second flight I was in a tight space, under some trees; When I hit the return home switch, it went straight up into a tree & crashed onto the cement; I didn’t know it would go up to land; The video shows the crash very awesome!!! The emergency stop window opened unintentionally & instead of closing it, I switched it on; The drone lost power & hit the asphalt upside down!!! I had to do some bending & two motors were jammed; I was able to make it fly again but it’s a little unstable; Still considering, this is a very tuff drone & still flys after two hard crashes; I hope I can get it repaired!!! Is the Mantis G supposed to have a microphone; I’m not getting audio!!! ### 4/5 — Fun to fly *2020-01-30* So far I’m loving it. Would like to see more flying options on the App. The possibility of an upgrade to the gimbal and you have a customer for life ! ### 3/5 — Good *2019-07-23* Haven’t had any issues with the app. Easy menus to follow and customize like camera settings, circle distance and height. The following modes aren’t that good though. Takes great pictures and satisfactory video. The camera up/ down is a bit jerky. The drones distance seems to be a lot less than stated in the manual. Overall, I call it a beginner drone at an above average price. Its extremely reliable and solidly built. Excellent flight time. For the price I would preferred it to at least have “ smart batteries “ or perhaps at least a 2 axis stabilized camera. Handles wind with ease but photos have to be edited to level. I’m not unhappy with the product but for the price, it could be better. ### 2/5 — Need update *2019-05-15, version 1.2.1* The app is terrible, I can not do a flight no matter the distance without the app shutting down. I was recently told that there was a update coming for this app....please hurry! ### 4/5 — Yuneec pilot app crashes mid flight. *2019-03-19* Pretty good drone. Not to bad. Haven’t lost it yet. But has anyone else had the problem of the app just randomly crashing? Still able to pilot, but mid flight it just closes itself out. ### 3/5 — Software bugs for app AND drone *2019-03-03, version 1.1.6* The drone will usually complain about an unusual magnetic field. I usually recalibrate it just in case. The app ALWAYS crashes when I try and upload something to YouTube. It crashes once I select a video, then press the YouTube button. This happened once I connected my YouTube account within the app. Other than YouTube crashing, I haven’t had many issues. I’ve only used the drone 4 times (20ish minute flights each time). PLEASE add the ability to add videos/phots to the iPhone photo library. That seems like an obvious feature to have but it’s currently not available. The drone still gets the job done and couldn’t be happier! I think there’s a lot of room for improvement on the software side (app and drone). Instead of pushing updates fast, I’d rather see them take their time with a good, solid, functional update. P.S. The devs can contact me for a more detailed message about the app crashing (iPhone X, 12.1.4). I recommend this drone! Great competition for Dji. Thanks! ### 2/5 — The product is just good. *2019-03-03, version 1.1.6* When I bought the drone the camera gimbal was touchy. It only took about 10-15 flights to gradually go from touchy to completely inoperative. Not too big of a deal, because it should have been covered by the warranty, but I couldn’t get the company to respond to any of my calls, messages or emails. Even through their website form that you are required to fill out if you need service. It also says you can bring the drone to Best Buy for service, but they only thing that they told me they could do was charge me $85 to send it to Yuneec and the rest of the charges were unknown. The drone isn’t worth that kind of trouble. But it does get 2 stars for the video quality and the easy of use. Overall: the drone is super cheap in quality and almost all of the special features only work sometimes. They could have put a little more effort into this drone and had something really cool, but instead they dropped the ball. The phone always says another device is connected. The drone is junk now. The two blue light flash fast be aware before buying this brand. When I try to locate my drone it says it’s hours away on a school roof! The screens states network error and there is no way to go back or use the iPhone without this forced upgrade. All connections are correct c Phone for customer service is not a working number. No ability to chat The screen menus on the internet website don’t work. I had absolutely no trouble when sending my drone in for repairs and they replace the whole thing with a brand new one I only had it two months so it was under warranty as I was flying around my yard the app crashed and causing me to run into something that was in the path of the drone, I filled out the online request form and from there they took on the rest. Yuneec took care of me very well with the quick response on the emails And replacing the drone, so I have no issues with them.
