## What is YuzhaLink?

YuzhaLink is an intelligent, cloud-based aquarium control platform designed for seamless device connectivity and precise ecosystem management. With one-tap pairing, you can connect your aquarium devices within seconds and begin monitoring instantly.
The system offers 9-channel spectrum control, multi-device synchronization, and intelligent lighting automation based on natural reef rhythms.
All settings are automatically cloud-synced, allowing effortless restoration across devices and enabling you to manage multiple tanks from a single, intuitive dashboard.
Next, YuzhaLink will continue expanding its ecosystem with support for additional aquarium devices, more powerful automation capabilities, and advanced monitoring tools.
A future cloud-driven community feature will allow users to share lighting profiles, automation routines, and reef-keeping insights—collectively building an ever-evolving intelligent aquarium platform that connects hobbyists around the world.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.5 — 2026-08-22

New features

Dedicated pages for three tank types

Arowana: rounded icon-bubble visuals, water-level cards named per slot, pump card with feeding mode (tap the icon).
Planted: all 10 planted types, a new state-filled control area, refill flow replacing TDS on the water-quality card.
Stream: a gradient waterline along the card's base; 4-point water level shown as stepped shallows.
All three: tap a card to open its detail page, two-step confirmation before manually switching on hazardous roles (refill valve, drain pump, heater), per-role offline states.

Local weather

A weather section on all four tank pages: temperature, humidity, pressure and conditions.
Location comes from the phone's current position; location permission is limited to when-in-use.

New icon system

Over 50 hand-drawn SVG icons replace the generic set, covering every role and all 36 device models.
Similar devices differ by qualifier: pumps by flow direction (fill / drain / wave), lights by light shape, water levels by tank height and graduations.
Device icons match on model-code rules, so new hardware gets the right icon without a code change.

Sensors and automation

ORP sensor support, with a reading card and history chart (±2000 mV).
CO2 pH control automation for planted tanks, including the CO2 solenoid valve role.
Volumetric water change shows a drain safety notice when enabled and configured.
Custom automation actions are derived from the role: roles on a power-strip port only offer on/off, so actions bound to fail are no longer shown.

Provisioning and scanning

Flashlight on all three scanner screens, shown only on phones with a flash and switched off on exit.
Role pre-selection respects occupancy: full roles are skipped, the picker shows which device holds a role, and a failed binding keeps you on the page to pick again.

Improvements

One shared power-strip card; ports can be controlled from the tank page on all four tank types.
Cards dropped the right chevron; port count moved to the bottom right.
The home alert icon is a neutral grey bell when there is nothing to report.
Image upload limit raised from 5 MB to 10 MB, matching the server; log photos capped at ~1080p.
Automation cards show the last failed run and its reason, not just "last run X ago".
A momentarily missing sensor reading reads "No data yet" instead of "Unbound".

Bug fixes

Device control

Current and port states no longer cross between multiple DC power strips in one tank.
Offline ports are greyed out, disabled and labelled "Offline" instead of showing stale states.
Pumps no longer fail to adjust right after coming online.
Switching several ports in quick succession no longer reverts the previous one.
No more false "operation failed" when tapping marine light channels rapidly.
The air pump power slider no longer snaps back to a stale value.

UI and stability

The app no longer loses all touch response after deleting an alert or maintenance record.
Fixed a large blank gap between dialog inputs and the keyboard on some devices.
Drain pumps no longer show the wave-maker icon; icons no longer render as empty circles.
Single-point water level and leak sensors no longer share an icon.
Tank age no longer starts at "day 0".
Successful feeding is no longer reported as a failure.
Bound heaters, fans, air pumps and dosing pumps now show a card on tank templates.

Automation

The Confirm button is no longer stuck disabled when setting thresholds for leak, ORP, presence, EC and ATO level sensors.
Runs that completed are no longer reported as failures.
Hardware icons in automation card footers now light consistently.

### 1.4.4 — 2026-07-17

This update makes device status clearer and tank binding easier:

• New online / offline status for devices — offline ones are dimmed and paused so you can see at a glance what's connected
• Smoother tank binding / unbinding — one device can serve multiple tanks, with clearer prompts
• Improved lighting control — the brightness slider tracks your finger without snapping back, and channel detection is more accurate
• Fixed issues with share-code delivery and port-device unbinding

Thanks for your feedback — we keep polishing.

### 1.4.3 — 2026-06-16
