They left out of the instructions to turn your phone on airplane mode. Once you turn it on airplane mode along with the Wi-Fi instructions it will work perfectly I should give it a lower star for the frustration that they left a very important part out. So yes, at first you think you are being scammed but no you aren’t, you just need to turn your phone into airplane mode. Anyways, This product helped me significantly, I confirmed one of my ear canals is totally blocked prompting me to go to the doctor.
