It won't connect to a samba share that has guest priveleges When I log in to a share after giving it a uname/passwd and play a SD 350MB video it's as jerky as most other (good) players trying to render a 1080p MKV. How did this ever get into the app store? At best I'd describe it as an alpha test version. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Samba and upnp crash and are unusable. The new interface is worse than the old one.. What have you done folks? you have gone backwards and made a decent app useless. I now have no way to view movies on my network at home which I used to be able to do with ease. Please fix this mess and let us have a choice of interface as well.... Also they keep coming out with a new name for the same software so that their ratings aren't looking bad. Apple is failing us here. Even typing in direct URL and still doesn't work. Don't waste your money. Apps should do what they claim to do and be easy to use. I use the player to play mp4 vids I download from a training site and watch em on my way to work. This app makes the iPad so much more complete! It works absolutely flawlessly. No performance issue, easy dragging files into the players library, easy removing. I don't want to connect to iTunes every time to upload movies to my iPad. ### 5/5 — Excellent way to overcome temperamental iTunes video sync *2010-06-13, version 0* I've been disappointed by the countless iTunes error messages I get when trying to sync movies/TV shows to my iPad. This works really well for any of the videos I have that iTunes refuses to sync. I see that others have problems with this app, but I haven't had any issues. Not sure why. I wish iTunes weren't so picky when syncing videos, but it is.
