Some people mistreated us, although not all of them did. For instance, they texted us rudely and didn't trust us to fill their work when they were short-staffed. They treated us this way despite our willingness to assist and provide additional staff to their business. The entire system is heavily biased against part-timers. If we cancel a job within 48 hours, we get penalized immediately — no questions asked. But when hotels delay confirming attendance or hold up payments for weeks, nothing is done. No penalties, no urgency — we’re just left waiting. Our attendance and even our faces are clearly recorded in the app, yet YY still refuses to process payments without hotel confirmation. What’s the point of collecting all that data if it’s not even used? Customer service has been completely unhelpful. I wasn’t informed about EPF deductions, and to make things worse, they randomly deducted a no-show penalty from my second payment instead of the first, with no explanation or notice. When I raised the issue, instead of taking responsibility for how slow and broken the process is, I was basically told I was just blaming others. Really? This app clearly doesn't value the time, effort, or rights of its part-timers.
