## Most critical reviews (7 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Needs Work

*2017-12-10, version 2.3.18*

Useless for layout control as it crashes if you try and change the configuration of a control.

### 2/5 — Seems like a beta

*2013-01-27, version 1.1.2*

Works ok, until you try to move between functions. Ipad 3 struggles and locks up for a couple of minutes. Bad news if you have to stop a loco urgently.

Needs to be FAR better

### 2/5 — Oops!

*2012-10-23, version 1.1*

Seems to have a few bugs in it - won't send voltage to track; won't programme decoders or drive locomotives. I also have iPhone version 1.08 and that works perfectly.

Having spent £300 on controller unit, I hope that a corrected version of programme for iPad makes an appearance soon

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2018-03-08, version 2.3.20*

An excellent app that just works as it should every single time. I have been using this app and previous versions for 5 years and never had any problems.

Coupled with the Z21 system I genuinely believe this is the best DCC control system on the market.

### 5/5 — z21 app 5star

*2017-02-26, version 2.3.13*

An excellent app for all controls on your dcc layout

### 5/5 — A great controller!

*2016-12-29*

This is by far the best system I have used. My jaw dropped every time I found more features to implement.

### 5/5 — Very good

*2013-06-29, version 2.0.1*

Very good system, the future for model railway control.

Some suggestions for future updates:
It would be great to be able to copy a locos 'function mapping' to other locos within the app. i.e. make a function template for all your locos. Most of my sound locos have the same functions mapped to the same keys, however in this app I have to laboriously configure each loco separately.

I can't find an explanation of what the 'traction settings' do, every time I try to create a train ( multi head) it says I have to configure the 'traction settings' for the loco.
