This step feels pointless. Who designed this? Why not take users straight to the dashboard after login? It opens and immediately closes. I called customer support and they told me to open and change the settings. But it won’t open. I’m calling again today. I prefer to use the app over my laptop. However, the stock’s value experienced a significant decline within a few days, resulting in the loss of half of my investment. Furthermore, the stock was removed from the premium ranking without any prior notice. Consequently, I strongly advise against investing in stocks recommended by Zacks. ### 1/5 — Consumers Safety Should Matter! *2025-02-20, version 5.1.1* Recently discovered—not through Zack’s, but through my mobile security software—that Zack’s Investment Research experienced a data breach. Shockingly, I never received any official notification about this incident, despite being a subscriber. It’s deeply concerning that six months passed before I became aware of the breach, and only because I took the initiative to monitor my data security. A company as well-established as Zack’s should prioritize strong cybersecurity measures and transparent communication with its users. Instead, I’ve now come across efforts to gather affected users for a class-action lawsuit, suggesting that I am far from alone in this experience. Given Zack’s size, resources, and reputation, customers expect better data protection and immediate notification when security incidents occur. The lack of communication raises serious concerns about their commitment to user security and regulatory compliance. I urge Zack’s to take accountability, improve its cybersecurity practices, and ensure prompt disclosure of future breaches. Trust is built on transparency and responsibility, and in this case, Zack’s has fallen short. Review of Zack’s Data Breach Notification Failure I recently discovered, through my mobile security software, that Zack’s Investment Research experienced a data breach. Shockingly, I never received any direct notification from Zack’s regarding this incident, despite being a subscriber. This lack of transparency is concerning, especially considering that it took six months for me to become aware of the breach. An organization as established and well-regarded as Zack’s should prioritize robust cybersecurity measures to protect its subscribers’ data. Furthermore, prompt notification following a breach is a fundamental responsibility to allow affected individuals to take necessary precautions. Instead, I had to find out through a third party, raising serious questions about Zack’s commitment to data security and customer trust. To make matters worse, I have now come across a class action lawsuit sign-up effort, which suggests that I am not alone in this experience. Given the scale and financial resources of Zack’s, there is no excuse for inadequate security or delayed transparency. Subscribers expect better protection and communication from a company of this stature. I strongly urge Zack’s to reassess its cybersecurity protocols and ensure that customers are promptly informed of any future incidents. Given the premium nature of this service, I expected a more comprehensive and structured approach to stock recommendations across all subscription tiers, with clear and timely guidance tailored to long-term investors. While Zacks provides valuable market commentary and strategic insights, the lack of regular, targeted stock picks as part of the lifetime package leaves room for improvement. Subscribers who invest in such long-term commitments reasonably expect a well-defined schedule of recommendations to help navigate market opportunities more effectively. I hope Zacks considers enhancing their lifetime subscription experience by ensuring consistent and well-communicated stock picks that align with the expectations set forth at the time of purchase. Rebooted phone, still crashes. Deleted app and reinstalled, still crashes. Guess I’ll just use the web browser then. According to the breach report shown in the scan, the compromised data reportedly included email addresses, IP addresses, names, usernames, passwords, phone numbers, and physical addresses. My email address was specifically identified as being part of that breach. After learning that my email had been exposed, I began taking additional security precautions across accounts associated with that address. Since that time, I have also experienced a noticeable increase in spam and phishing emails and have had to reset passwords and strengthen security on several online accounts connected to that email. I cannot independently verify the source of those messages or activity, and I cannot say with certainty that they are directly connected to the breach. However, discovering that my email address appeared in the breach understandably raised concerns for me about how personal data connected to financial platforms is stored and protected. Anyone whose email appears in a breach should take immediate steps to protect their accounts, including changing passwords, enabling two-factor authentication where available, and monitoring accounts for suspicious activity. Used it ONE time and noticed how glitchy it was. Tried to go in the app to cancel and the page will not load. Reached out to customer service 3X now and only received one response “cancel through apple”. Well it’s too late because they waited until AFTER I was charged to tell me. And now apple refuses to refund me because it appears like a legit purchase. STILL cannot access app properly as it glitches out NON STOP. What a scam. The ratings, articles and advice are excellent. I have used quite a few of the zacks top picks and stock recommendations to positively impact my portfolio. The content they have is great from top picks to ipo’s to stocks expected to beat earnings. You have to use the desktop site to get complete benefits of it, there is so much content.
