There are certain limitations on getting sms from “short numbers” (my bank’s SN works fine, but my governmental e-Papers service’s SN doesn’t), but once again, I would definitely recommend Zadarma, especially for those who need sms’ from short-numbers. Anyway, there’s always an opportunity to improve. Here is my suggestion: my foreign bank sends me messages in a language I do not speak at all (oops). Every time I get a message from my bank in Zadarma’s app I have to go to Gmail, look for a letter from Zadarma with a copy of my bank’s sms and google-translate it in Gmail. So, Zadarma team, please enable translation within your app. It won’t take too much time, it’s alsmost a no-code feature. But from a UX point of view it would be a Great Leap Forward Will ya? ### 1/5 — Basura *2025-05-28, version 7.8.4* El proceso de alta es muy tedioso, te obligan a subir mucha documentación varias veces y luego te rechazan la documentación. So most likely verification takes you over a week with bureaucracy. In the remote case it works service is very faulty with connection quality bad. Money totally wasted. Check other reviews **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Our service requires verification to comply with international regulations, and we clearly state this before payment. In most cases, the process is quick, but delays may happen if documents are incomplete or unclear. Ogólnie przydałaby się większa integracja z systemem iOS. Клоуни ### 1/5 — Quality and customer service *2026-01-07* This isn’t worthy the hassle and quality of calls very poor. Quality of calls terrible, when calling an international destination from the U.S., I can speak to the person on the other line for like a minute after that it replays what the other person on the line said during that minute and keeps on replaying that on repeat (as if that was recorded). Only way to get around it was to hang up and call again. Other issue also when calling sometimes it connects to wrong numbers on the other end, not the actual number I was calling. Additionally contacting customer service via chat wasn’t helpful. Took couple weeks for verification and when contacted customer service via chat, the person didn’t want to help basically kept on repeating the same sentence over and over as if it was a computer responding, and wasn’t interested in understanding the issue. Only after sending another email I was cleared/“verified” for international calls. **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your experience — we’re sorry to hear about the difficulties you faced. Support ticket. ### 1/5 — The worst virtual number service *2025-12-27, version 7.8.6* I verified my account, rented a number but I didn't receive any SMS from Instagram. I wrote to support and they refused to refund me or change number. I just lost my money! ### 1/5 — Очень слабо! *2025-11-04, version 7.8.5* Вы не сможете построить с этим сервисом элементарную телефонию на 3-4 номера телефона... функционал очень слабый. Как АТС это использовать нельзя! Подходит только для личного пользования. Либо все может работать, если вы готовы платить 1,2$ за минуту разговора, что на сегодняшний день смешно! Но есть и плюсы! Me gustaría saber qué hacen con esa documentación que están recopilando. Espero que alguien investigue a qué se dedican realmente en esta empresa. I had to delete the app from my phone to stop work calls from bothering me whilst on holiday. The identity verification process is just endless and the customer support is simply not there. They are literally cannot fix non of problems. System never working. If you guys want to lost your company reputation, Zadarma is the best service for that. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Poor! *2025-11-26* I had been a loyal Zadarma customer for over five years, and unfortunately, my experience took a drastic turn for the worse this past year. Without any reasonable explanation, the company disabled my ability to connect new numbers, claiming restrictions related to Russia, North Korea, and other sanctioned regions. This makes absolutely no sense, as I live in the United States and have no connection whatsoever to those territories. What makes the situation even more unacceptable is that I had already paid $500 for a yearly service plan. Despite this, Zadarma provided no practical solution, no clear justification, and no respect for long-standing customers. Their actions feel careless at best and misleading at worst. My advice is simple: be extremely cautious. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend staying far away from this company. It is not as feature rich as Skype and does not have as glossy an app but it works well for incoming and outgoing calls. By the way, I am using the cloud PBX to set up voicemail system and all the voicemails are sent by email and I downloaded and saved them. Super good and easy. This is much better than Skype number. I have changed the voicemail greeting by typing a new one.
