## What is Zain?

Zain turns a goal into a plan you can keep, one week at a time, and changes the plan when real life changes your week.

Start with one sentence in your own words, such as "Help me run my first marathon" or "Help me get ready for my exams in January". Zain asks a few questions about where you are starting and how much time you have, then drafts a plan that sets out what each week asks of you.

Weeks rarely go to plan, and Zain is built for that. At the start of each week, the weekly check-in shows how the last one went, with missed days marked in gray rather than red. If a week slipped, Zain rearranges the next one so the goal still holds, and you can move or skip anything with a tap or a sentence. Nothing changes until you agree, and the weekly check-in is free.

Beside the plan

Habits: each habit has one ring and takes one tap, and seven beads show how its week is going. Explore habits suggests new ones and says why each one fits.

Prayer: Zain works out the five prayer times on your phone for your city, and your location stays on the phone. One tap marks each prayer, a reminder can come at the adhan or a few minutes before, and you can mark the prayer straight from the reminder. The month's record shows what you marked, a missed prayer can be marked as made up, and a prayer buddy, if you choose one, sees only the prayers you marked.

Reading: your shelf keeps the page you are on and the lines you want to remember. You can read one book with a friend and see each other's page, while their notes stay sealed until you reach the page where they left them. Each morning the Bookshop sets out new books, including a blind date with a book that you unwrap by its first lines.

Notes: journal, idea, reflection, gratitude and list each have their own page, and a series gathers notes on one subject so you can read them from the beginning. You can also say a note instead of typing it.

Meditation: Zain times a quiet sit under a sunset sky and rings a bell at the end, even when the phone is locked.

Together: keep a habit side by side with a friend, invite someone along with one card, or share a goal and see both your weeks on one dial.

Workouts: connect Apple Health and your workouts appear in Zain, where a running plan can draw on the training you have already done.

Free and Zain Pro

Zain is free to start. The free version includes the weekly check-in, up to four habits, one note a day, one book at a time, prayer times and the prayer record, meditation, and one plan draft a month, which shows the shape of a plan and its first week.

Zain Pro adds full plans, kept on your calendar and redrafted from the week you actually had, and with them shared goals, because a shared goal links two plans. Pro also lifts the limits on habits, notes and books, lets you ask Zain more questions each day, and adds insights on your notes, checklist habits and book collections.

Zain Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage the subscription or turn off renewal in your Apple Account settings. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.

Good to know

Zain needs an account, so your plans, habits and notes stay with you on every device. Prayer times are worked out on the phone and notes are saved there first, so both work without a connection. Plans and Zain's answers are written with the help of an AI model, and the privacy policy explains what is sent and where. Zain speaks English, Arabic and Turkish.

### 5/5 — Living Intentionally - looks promising!

*2026-04-25*

I usually don’t leave reviews but this app is different. First off it flows nicely, I can see it helping with organizing my thoughts and my day, no invasive ads, that’s a huge plus!!

Some of the habits suggested are great, like calling Family and getting some sunlight

**Developer response:** Thank you for trying Zain in its first weeks. Living intentionally is close to how we describe it ourselves, and a lot has grown from that since April: Zain now drafts a weekly plan for a goal and rearranges the next week when one slips. If anything gets in your way, support@thezainapp.com comes straight to me. — Mo, founder of Zain
