APP needs updating or something for the seriousness I have this for & should work flawlessly & easier than this for what we pay for ### 2/5 — So incredibly dissapointed *2024-08-26* We’ve had this service for several years, as a duplicate service. After paying again today for the elite membership, I walked my spouse through what to do if we have a wallet, card or passport lost. After spending 15 minutes logging in, both on the web and using the App, then calling the “lost wallet” number we were not able to reach a person. So very frustrating as I cannot imagine that if we actually had an issue we would be so calm and have time to wait, now at 20 minutes we just hung up and called the credit cards directly…not sure exactly what we are spending our money on. My spouse looked at me like Ramsey looks when people do stupid things with their money… ### 1/5 — Can’t use the app *2024-01-02, version 3.5.6* The app won’t load. Just a blank screen. Repeated this process 6 times and finally just gave up! Now it’s time to cancel my subscription. Opened the app and it repeatedly stated it was unable to log in due to an error. Went online and successfully logged in with a browser. What’s the point of having the app? ### 1/5 — Will not load *2025-06-17, version 4.1.0* I just downloaded the app and logged it and that is about as far as I can get. The app will not load and open up. I shut my iPad down and restarted. Nothing will work. ### 1/5 — Messed up my phone *2025-05-13* Their vpn somehow wrecked my phone’s functionality because it wouldn’t turn off when not in use. I went through all the customer service troubleshooting only to be told @ the end that the only way to shut it off is via chat bot. The app will send push notifications to view a message but the message never loads and there will be nothing new in alerts. There is nothing in the app worth looking at. The dashboard has no information. With a better interface this would give much more value. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2024-12-13* I think a lot of people believe that just because Dave endorses their company that everything they offer is good and trustworthy. I would like to differ. This has been a nightmare ever since I got married and started using the “family elite” plan. If you use the app while enrolled in this plan, your spouses account will show up as “individual” and the “share your subscription” never actually works. They treat you like you’re not married. Child protection is also never available. I never had much luck with their VPN (it made most applications never work), and my wife never had access to all of the extra benefits in her account like I did. I called on a weekend to cancel our subscription, and the guy on the other end never canceled it for me even though he said he did. Also, Zander tried charging my debit card after our plan had already been canceled. They alert you about compromised personal information, but they never tell you if it’s a serious problem or not. They’re not really proactive and you really get what you pay for with other identity protection companies. ### 1/5 — Bad app *2024-11-07, version 3.5.10* The app wont even open so I can log in. Ive been trying for many days now. So I just use their website. Please keep fixing the app. ### 1/5 — Not usable internationally *2024-11-01* This program will not work internationally while traveling, regardless of whether or not you use a VPN. I believe this is something that Zander should take care of, but when I called tech-support and customer service. Their response to the problem was . no problem. You can just make an international call to find out what’s going on with your ID . I do not believe that that is the correct response rather, it would be better if they worked on the program so that everyone could use it regardless of their travels . ### 1/5 — Freezes *2024-09-13, version 3.5.10* As others have pointed out, the app freezes after you go through all the steps to login. You can not close it even after the iPad is turned off and back on again. It only says it’s still logged in even though the page is frozen. It’s not the most sophisticated in terms of look and feel but it’s pretty intuitive. Since I’m not on here daily it’s not a big deal. The main thing I don’t like is that it’s easier to go to the website to update my profile. I’d prefer that pet be easier to do without leaving the app. Updated note: Zander should push the updated version to users. For some reason the most recent one didn’t come thru automatically.
