## What is Zap Panels?

Zap Panels gives your Tesla Powerwall a simple, stylish, dedicated in-home display. A real-time dashboard showing exactly what your home energy system is doing right now. Ideal for wall or desk mounted displays.

Monitor live power readings across solar generation, home consumption, battery charge and grid import/export. The home consumption breakdown shows exactly where your energy is coming from at any moment. Daily kWh totals, tariff cost tracking and a personalised solar generation forecast give you the full picture of your energy use.

Octopus Agile customers can view live half-hourly import rates directly on the dashboard, updated automatically throughout the day.

Intelligent Octopus Go users can view current tariff status, peak/off-peak and upcoming dispatch slots.

• Multi-site Tesla account support - If you have more than one energy site, the app lets you pick which one to use and switch between them from Settings.
• Full screen mode - Tap the expand icon in the toolbar to hide the iOS status bar for a clean, distraction-free dashboard.
• Drag to reorder panels - Long-press any panel and drag it to rearrange the layout. Order persists and is shared between portrait and landscape.
• Home panel consumption breakdown - Below the daily kWh total, the Home panel shows how much energy came from solar, battery, and grid, with colour-coded percentages.
• Battery charge/discharge indicators - Chevron arrows on the Battery panel title show at a glance whether the battery is charging, discharging, or idle.
• Tesla reconnection detection - If the Tesla client ID changes, the app detects it at launch and prompts you to reconnect, instead of showing a confusing error.
• In-app error debug report - When a persistent connection error occurs, tap the info icon to see a diagnostic report you can email to the developer.
