## What is Zapa Player?

No IPTV provider streams without dropouts. Zapa rides them out, and tells you the truth: how many there were, how long they lasted and whether it was your provider or your internet. No ads, on your Chromecast and in Picture in Picture. No sign-up and no account to open.

NO ADS, EVER

No banners, no videos before the channel, not even in the free version. No trackers or analytics either. Your service's details stay encrypted on your device and never go anywhere.

WHEN YOUR PROVIDER DROPS, ZAPA HOLDS ON

Dropouts come from the provider, and almost all of them last a few seconds. Zapa is built so you don't notice them:

• It covers the short ones: it keeps playing what it already has while it asks for the channel again.
• When a dropout is long, it brings the channel back on its own, without you touching anything.
• If a channel drops and your playlist has it in another version, it switches to it, with a few seconds to cancel.
• Movies keep your place: if the connection drops, you pick up right where you left off.
• Built for single-connection lines: change channels without connection-busy errors.
• It opens channels other players can't.

All of this is free, too.

THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR LINE

• When you finish watching, it tells you how many of your provider's cut-outs it covered without you noticing.
• Line health: the dropouts of the last 7 days, with their time and length, which ones Zapa covered and which ones you saw, and whether it was the provider or your internet.
• A report to make your case to your provider with data, not impressions (full version).

FREE, AND IT NEVER EXPIRES

Your channels, your provider's guide, movies and series with a proper progress bar, your choice of audio and subtitles, favorites (movies, series and single episodes too), recently watched and search.

THE FULL VERSION

A yearly subscription or a one-time payment that never expires. Either one adds:

• Sending a live channel to a Chromecast.
• Picture in Picture.
• The complete guide.
• The full grid: what is on later, on every channel.
• Searching for a program by name across the whole guide.
• Remind me when it starts.
• Several lists at once, switching between them without typing anything again.
• My channels: hide the categories you will never watch, sort the ones you do and build your own groups.
• Keeping the sound on with the screen off.
• Watching what has already aired, on the channels that keep it.

IPHONE AND IPAD

The same app on both, with the big screen genuinely used: on the iPad the list, the channel and its schedule all fit at once. One purchase covers both.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

Zapa Player is a player: it does not include, host or distribute audiovisual content of any kind. It opens empty and the channels come from the Xtream Codes service or the list each person configures, and that person is responsible for it being legitimate.

While you're sending a channel to a TV, Zapa stays open with the screen on: iOS doesn't let it carry on in the background.

PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

Zapa full, one year: €14.99, auto-renewing subscription, with a 7-day free trial if you haven't had one before.
Zapa full, forever: €34.99, a single payment.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirming the purchase or, with the trial, when the 7 days are up, unless you cancel before then. The subscription renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, and it is managed from your Apple Account settings. Prices shown are for Spain; in other countries you will see yours, in your currency, before confirming.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.58 — 2026-11-02

Zapa Player, as it stands today:
• Ready for iPhone Duo: fills the screen folded and unfolded, and the channel keeps playing as you open or close it.
• “Rate Zapa” and “Share Zapa” in the menu, alongside the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
• On iPhone, search is always in view: type the channel or programme and you're there.
• When you add your account, if the username or password doesn't work, Zapa tells you so you can check them.
• Go back to what has already aired: on the channels that keep it, the last few days' programmes, or the one on now from the start.
• Choose the audio and subtitles for every film and series, with forced subtitles marked as such.
• Favourites for films, series and single episodes too, each in its own section. And every list keeps its own.
• Films start quickly, and if your provider is slow, the app tells you.
• If your provider drops out, the channel carries on where it was, without reloading or replaying what you've already seen, and keeps trying on its own until it comes back. And if the picture freezes, it tells you right away and recovers on its own.
• With no internet, the channel waits and comes back on its own as soon as the network returns, including when you switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data.
• If your line is in use on another device, the app tells you and tries again every minute.
• Radio stations carry on where they were when the provider drops out, without replaying what you've just heard.
• If a channel drops and your playlist has it in another version (FHD, HD or SD), Zapa switches to it on its own in 5 seconds, unless you'd rather stay.
• In Line health, your provider's cut-outs over the last 7 days: how many Zapa covered up without you noticing and how many you actually saw, plus your recent viewing with how long each lasted and its cut-outs by type. When you finish watching, Zapa tells you how many it covered. With the full version, the report ready to send to your provider.
• Measure your line for one or five minutes, from the same Line health sheet.
• In your language: 21 languages, from Portuguese to Japanese, Korean, Arabic and Hindi.
• Your Xtream Codes account or your M3U playlist, set up by pasting the link your provider gave you, whoever serves it: Zapa recognizes which one it is.
• Live channels, films and series, with a proper progress bar. Switch from TV to films or series with one tap, each with its own categories.
• Your provider's guide or the one your playlist carries, and a complete schedule even on the channels that arrive blank.
• A live channel on your Chromecast, from your iPhone.
• Picture in Picture: the channel stays in a corner while you do something else.
• Keeps playing with the screen off, with its controls on the lock screen.
• Find a programme by name across the whole guide, and be reminded when it starts.
• Several lists at once, favourites, recently watched and your own channel groups.
• In My lists, switch between them, add another (Xtream Codes account or M3U playlist) and remove the one you no longer use: before removing it, Zapa tells you which one.
• Set how the picture fits: fill the screen, keep the channel's own shape, or force 16:9 or 4:3. Remembered per channel.
• Tell us what's happening from inside the app: the message goes out with the technical details already written and nothing from your account.
All on iPhone and iPad, with no ads and no sign-up.
