Open the app and you see the happy hours running this minute near you, each with a photo, the exact hours, and every discounted item priced out. No blog posts from four years ago, no squinting at a bar's story.

Filter by day, time, distance, area, price and type, and stack them however you like. Vibe filters get you closer to the night you actually want: patio, dive bar, date night, dog friendly, live music, sports, upscale, quirky.

Search finds the deal, not just the venue. Type a dish, a drink or a bar name and Zappy shows you where it is actually discounted, not just a list of places that sell it.

I wanted to find a nearby place that had plant-based appetizers for happy hour, and this app made that process effortless! I typed “vegan” into the search, and multiple restaurants popped up on the map (on a Thursday, no less!)

I got a delicious maki sushi roll less than half a mile from my house for half price. The savings on that one item paid for a month of membership! What a cool app!

Zappy comes back to where you were.

Reopen the app after iOS has cleared it from memory and you land on the place you were reading, on the day you were reading it, instead of back at the map.

Shared links open on the right day too. If someone sends you a place while they're looking at Tuesday, you get Tuesday rather than today.

Pins on the map now carry the venue's name.

The map keeps your zoom when a filter still has results in view, instead of jumping out to fit everything. It only moves when it has to.

The filter bar folds into a single chip when you move the map, and taps back open.

The Specials filter fills in immediately instead of waiting on the network.

Now is a shortcut for the Day and Time filters.

Turn it on and both show what "now" means: today, and the time of day you're in. Change either one and Now steps aside, leaving that day and time behind so you can adjust from there instead of starting over.

The time picker's slider also follows the presets now, so you can pick Evening and nudge it later, and a range you set by hand names itself when it lines up with one.

Place photos also load once and stay loaded. They no longer reload every time you open the app, or drop back to a grey placeholder while you scroll.

Every spot now shows a photo, so you can see the room before you go.

New vibe tags. Patio, dive bar, date night, dog friendly, live music, sports and more, shown on each place and filterable across the whole map.

Search got real suggestions. Type a dish or a drink and Zappy matches the actual special, not only the venue name. Free items read as free.

Filters got a custom time range slider, separate Lunch and Afternoon presets, and an inKind toggle.

Also: the badges over each photo sit in one tidy row, inKind deals moved down next to the vibes and now show for every inKind spot, and the share and save buttons look right in dark mode.
