## What is Zarf?

Zarf is a weekly photo game for your closest group.

Every Monday, three themes arrive in a sealed envelope. All week, everyone answers in secret. On Sunday evening the envelope opens for everyone at once.

Once a week you also get a flash theme: write your own, fire it any day, and it opens together the same evening.

After every opening, press your wax seal onto the photo you loved. The most-sealed photo becomes that week's cover in your group's archive.

Small groups only. No feeds, no strangers, no likes. Just your people, three themes, and a sealed envelope.

The Sunday opening now starts with the ceremony, even from the notification. Seals and reactions now show their owner's name.

Zarf, renewed. Three themes every Monday, opened together on Sunday evening. Everyone gets one flash theme a week. Break the seal, press your stamp on the photo you love, and the group's favorite becomes the week's cover.

Zarf has a new rhythm. A theme lands out of the blue, everyone answers the same day, and at 22.00 the answers open together. Drop your own themes in the box; they wait unseen until one becomes the day's surprise. Past days bind onto the shelf, month by month.

Now the themes are yours to write.

• The theme box: anyone in the group can drop themes in. Three go out each Monday, with the writer's name on them.
• Flash theme: once a week, add one to the current week. Everyone gets 24 hours to answer, and when time is up the photos open together.
• Photo uploads are faster and steadier, with progress right on the seal screen.

An empty box is fine. Zarf fills what's left empty.
