Zawal is a private, offline prayer companion for Muslims who want accurate prayer times and a true Qibla — with no ads, no tracking, no account, and no subscription.

IT SHOWS ITS WORK
Most apps just print a time. Zawal shows the calculation method and parameters behind every time — ISNA, Muslim World League, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura, or Dubai; Standard or Hanafi Asr; and high-latitude rules — so you understand where your times come from and can match your local mosque.

TRULY PRIVATE, TRULY OFFLINE
Zawal makes no network connections at all. There is no analytics, no advertising, no account, and no cloud. Your location never leaves your phone; it is used only on-device to compute your times and Qibla, and you can also choose a city by hand. Open the App Privacy section and you will see "Data Not Collected." It works in airplane mode, on a plane, or anywhere with no signal.

The core is free forever. Zawal Pro is a single one-time purchase — never a subscription — that unlocks travel and multi-city prayer profiles, so you keep accurate times for home and your destination as you travel. Prayer times, Qibla, reminders, and the Quran close are always free.

DESIGNED AS AN INSTRUMENT
A calm, considered solar-instrument interface built for daily use, in English and Arabic with full right-to-left support.

ON ACCURACY AND REVERENCE
Calculation methods differ between authorities, and trusted timetables can vary by a few minutes — Zawal explains the parameters and lets you calibrate rather than claiming one "correct" time. Quran text is included verbatim from the Tanzil project (Arabic) and the public-domain Pickthall translation (English), unaltered and attributed. There is no recitation or synthetic audio anywhere in the app.
