I’ve played other games of there before and they are a lot easier to do. ### 3/5 — Mediocre at best *2026-02-28, version 1.0.9* This game had a good concept: remake the original ZDay. The execution and planning, though, I can’t really vouch for. First off, the original ZDay had a way better “Tank” mode; complete with an M60 as the primary weapon. This game’s “Tank” mode is a complete butchery. It only gives an AA-12 as the best weapon. Second off, content locked behind a paywall; need I say more? ### 1/5 — Cash trap *2026-01-20, version 1.0.9* Ai slop sadly ### 1/5 — Not the same man *2025-09-20, version 1.0.9* I used to absolutely adore this game, I still have the old version on my iPod and play it occasionally, the original game 6+ years ago was amazing. Even after I found every ending and aspect, I kept playing. The writing was impeccable and the mechanics and combat for what it was, was amazing. Now not only I can no longer play the original on my new phone, I have to pay for each new release rather than one purchase. As much as I loved the old game, I can’t justify not even being able to access any story without paying. ### 3/5 — Ambiguity Surrounding In App Purchases *2025-08-30, version 1.0.9* Even after purchasing all available content, there is no instruction on how to unlock all stories. ### 1/5 — Shameful Cash Grab *2025-07-10, version 1.0.9* Every single “Tale” except the tutorial and The Stranger Part 1 are paid access, at this point just make the app paid access already. Not to mention, but was the original ZDay removed? Just so they can sell out this dumpster fire more? The game it self even seems cheap, many of the images are AI-GENERATED, hell, are entire chapters of this game made by ChatGPT? ### 4/5 — Fun, but broken. *2025-02-10, version 1.0.9* Almost every encounter with zombies, whether you engage or "sneak away" always puts you into combat. You're better off fighting every time. ### 4/5 — Miss The Original *2024-11-26, version 1.0.9* I was happy to see a new version made but I miss the original one/two weapon version and the more recent one with the inventory. I still have them but I wish they were updated to have more content. Also, Survivor Z is fun, had it for almost 11 years almost as long as the original ZDay survival simulator. I do appreciate the updated combat system and the new interface, but I don’t think you can beat the simple and original interface and combat system. Still like the stories though. Good game but miss the classics. ### 4/5 — Good revamp of a classic *2024-08-19, version 1.0.9* One question though, are the Prison and Hunting Loge stories completed and supposed to be available?
