However, I’m BEGGING for a dark mode icon, as I primarily use my phone in dark mode and your icon sticks out like a sore thumb. You and Caribou coffee, for some reason 🤨 PLEASE add this soon! Also, a general dark mode would be nice. ### 3/5 — iPhone widget functionality broken with last update *2025-03-26, version 2025.2.2.3* I loved the iPhone widget that they used to offer with this app. However, with the latest update (March 2025) the iPhone widget functionality is broken. Formerly, when I scrolled to my widget screen, the app would automatically update right when I scrolled to it. Now, it doesn’t do this. It lists a “last updated” time that I noticed could be over an hour old at times and shows outdated information on the widget. I have to click on the widget, open FaceTime, load the account, then I see my updated balance, which shows different information then the widget shows. It really defeats the purpose of the widget. This service is currently available under the More button at the bottom of the app and then click on the Visa Card Controls button. I cannot wait to get my account paid up and closed!!! I pay more in fees than anything!!! And the fact that Zeal would charge a $30 fee for a dollar or two overdraft makes me sick!!! They are just robbing me at this point!!! Not to mention MULTIPLE fees for the SAME rejected payment over and over and over! I can’t even get ahead because they just continuously charge me fees repeatedly for the same item trying to come out of my account. Times are literally hard enough without getting robbed by your credit Union!!! It’s so very sad! ### 1/5 — Bug report for mobile app during check deposit feature *2022-10-16* I am trying to report a bug that is in the mobile app. It is impossible to deposit a check on the mobile app because the screen is blurred when it requires a photo of the check. Please help remedy this situation with an update app. The situation has been ongoing since the iOS 16 update and it has not been fixed yet. I reached out to the chat customer service for Zeal Credit Union about two weeks ago and let them know about this issue. Please see attached screenshot of what it looks like when trying to deposit check. The UI tells you to rotate your device to continue your deposit. Regardless of rotating the device, the screen never goes away when trying to deposit a check. I hope somebody will respond to this and let the tech support for the mobile app know about this issue. I love this feature of zeal credit union’s mobile app, and would hate to see it be useless in the future because of a bug. **Developer response:** The iOS 16 Mobile Deposit issue will be fixed with our next release on December 13, 2022. We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused and thank you for your patience. ### 1/5 — Check deposit issues! *2022-09-26* Ever since I upgraded to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, I cannot deposit checks. I get a blurry screen that says “rotate your device to continue your deposit”, but the device is indeed rotated. The control center and home swipe bar have moved to the side, and I can see the camera underneath the blur, but it never corrects itself. Please fix. One star for developer visibility. Can forward screenshots if necessary. **Developer response:** We have been made aware of an issue with the Mobile Deposit service for iPhone app users with iOS 16. When attempting to deposit a check, at the point in the workflow where the user is prompted to take a photo of the front of the check, the app displays a message "Rotate your device to continue your deposit." If you rotate your device to the right (where the text shows upside-down), the camera function opens and you can continue with your deposit.
