It takes literal minutes for a printer to be connected, then another minute to retrieve settings, all for it to then “lose communication”. It works as long as you know what language the ZD device uses. It prefers ZPL II or ZPL. All of these so called IT professionals reviews are a joke! Und dann Einstellungen vornehmen. Einzigstes Manko ist das die Verbindung extrem langsam ist und man das Gefühl hat das man eine Tasse Kaffee schneller leer getrunken hat als das es die Informationen vom Drucker abgerufen hat. Aber das Tool ist schon Nützlich, es wäre sehr nützlich wenn es einen Übersicht/Overview gibt wo dann einem schnell alle Wichtigen Informationen angezeigt werden. Wie z.b. Aktuelle Fehler z.b Printerhead Overheat und ein Hinweis zum ToDo. Als auch Infos über die Konfiguration. Wie z.b. aktuelle Temperatur, Breite, Länge der Etiketten, Druckgeschwindigkeit, Datenverbindung z.b. WLAN oder LAN, IP-Adresse, Subnetzmaske, Gateway, DNS, HostName, IP-Protokoll, MAC-Adresse, SSID, WLAN Authentifizieren(WEP, WPA, EAP,…), Printerport, Firmware etc… halt wie beim Ausdruck der Printer/Network Konfiguration. Und die Möglichkeit die Firmware über die App zu aktualisieren. Ebenfalls eine Liste der Ersatzteile für den ausgewählten Drucker mit Partnummern. Das wäre es, und auch sinnvoll wenn man über >200 Zebra Drucker verwaltet, wartet und Repariert und dann ein einfaches Tool zur Hand hat für diese Tätigkeiten.
