## What is ZEBRA?

The Zebra Writing Table

The app "The Zebra Writing Table" is conceptually based on the textbook "Zebra" from Ernst Klett Verlag, but can also be used independently of the textbook. The app transforms the tried-and-tested Zebra writing table into an interactive learning environment, making literacy acquisition tangible and systematic. It offers films, a game, exercises for listening, swinging and writing with the writing table, as well as free writing with voice output. Exercises for the sound gestures of the Zebra letter booklet have been added. All exercises are available free of charge.
The word material comes from the basic vocabulary and changes every time the app is played, so that even practicing several times doesn't get boring.
The following functions are included
- Videos explain the basics in a child-friendly way
- Correction of incorrect entries, automatic display of the correct solution after three failed attempts
- Clear arrangement of the exercises in a learning path
- Self-directed learning possible
- Motivation through collecting stars and trophies

Ich schätze die App bei meiner Arbeit sehr, jedoch frage ich mich, warum zu Beginn des Schuljahres und der Verwendung des neuen Raps (2024) inkl. aktualisierter Schreibtabelle ohne Igel und mit langem -ie, das Video zum Rap nur auf dem digitalen Unterrichtsassistenten verfügbar ist. Bisher habe ich nur einen Text-Download zum Rap auf dem Zebrafanblog gefunden. Dabei würde ich die Kinder so gerne in der Schule und daheim fleißig daran üben lassen und dies auch den Eltern empfehlen wollen. 

Können Sie mir sagen, ab wann auch die App bzgl. der Neuausgaben 2024 auf Vordermann gebracht wird? Herzlichen Gruß und Dank aus Köln für die Antwort und die prinzipiell so sinnvolle App.
