## What is Zedmarket?

Zedmarket is a vital digital platform for the agribusiness retail sector, providing a comprehensive, end-to-end solution that connects farmers, buyers, transporters, and financiers. It is more than just a marketplace; it operates as a data-driven ecosystem that empowers farmers, optimises supply chains, and taps into global demand.

The platform includes a localised search feature, allowing users to find products within neighbourhoods by product name, city, community, keywords, and price range. Users can contact sellers through three common methods: Call, SMS, and WhatsApp. These widely used channels extend Zedmarket's accessibility, even for traders without smartphones, enabling them to trade and receive orders.

Traders can manage their profiles in the "My Advertiser Hub," where they can add, edit, or delete product listings. When out of stock, they can easily mark products as "Sold" with a toggle. Traders also have the option to "Sponsor" a listing, giving it priority placement for extra visibility on the landing page and in search results.

The rating and review features build credibility, honesty, integrity, and trust in the supply chain, especially in highly informal sectors where verification systems are scarce. Additional features include product likes and bookmarks.
