A subscription is unnecessary. Also the WBGT readings are often much lower than truth, resulting in dangerous situations. Cannot be trusted to make life saving decisions. This is the app for you. *2023-07-15, version 1.0.3.4* This app is a great example of a tool that does exactly as advertised. Do you want to know the WBGT? This will give it to you. It will also allow you to see various scales for WGBT and their recommendations for outdoor activities. As opposed to other apps, it’s clear you’re getting the WBGT here and not the Wet Bulb Temperature, which are (unfortunately) two different things. And that’s enough. If you need the WBGT and know what that is, then this is the app for you. If you don’t, go google it and then come back and download this app. WBGT is quite useful, and this app usefully provides it. ### 5/5 — Quicker and more convenient than a handheld meter *2022-08-05, version 1.0.2.4* I started using the app recently and it is a lot more convenient than carrying around a handheld. I checked the readings against a handheld and they are either identical or very close. If you are unaware WBGT is not how we normally measure temperature. It will look completely different than your normal forecasts and is useful for knowing how safe it is to exercise outdoors in your area. I really didn’t like how I had to make an account. The app already asks for your location so there is no need for it to save other data just to deliver local weather.
