## What is Zen Inbox cleaner?

Is your Gmail inbox full of newsletters, promotions, and bulk mail you never read? Zen Inbox Cleaner helps you take back control — fast.

Instead of deleting emails one by one, Zen Inbox Cleaner groups everything by sender. See exactly who's cluttering your inbox and how many emails they've sent — then clean it all up with a single tap.

HOW IT WORKS
Zen Inbox Cleaner scans your Gmail inbox and groups emails by sender — so you can see at a glance that a newsletter has sent you 312 emails, a promo address has 87, and so on. Select the senders you want gone, tap Clean, and they're moved to Trash in seconds.

You can also swipe individual senders to clean or review them, or tap into a sender to see their recent emails before deciding.

UNSUBSCRIBE WHILE YOU CLEAN
Spotted a newsletter you never signed up for? Tap Unsubscribe directly from the sender row. Zen Inbox Cleaner sends a standard one-click unsubscribe request (using the email's List-Unsubscribe header) so you stop receiving future emails too.

AUTO-TRASH RULES
After cleaning a sender, create an Auto-Trash Rule to automatically move any future emails from that address straight to Trash. It's a real Gmail filter, set once — never see them again.

PRIVACY FIRST — ALWAYS
Zen Inbox Cleaner never reads your email content. It only accesses email headers — sender addresses, subject lines, dates, and unsubscribe information — the minimum needed to show you who's sending what. No email body, no attachments, no message content — ever.

There is no Zen Inbox Cleaner server. Your phone talks to Gmail over HTTPS, and — only when you tap Unsubscribe — to that sender's own unsubscribe link. Nothing else. No analytics, no tracking, no data collection.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- See your top senders ranked by email count
- Select one sender or dozens at once
- Swipe to clean or review a sender
- Unsubscribe from bulk senders in one tap
- Create Auto-Trash Rules for repeat offenders
- Search senders by name, email, or domain
- Export your cleaning history, unsubscribe requests, and auto-trash rules as CSV files
- Sign out and all local data is wiped instantly

EMAILS GO TO TRASH — NOT DELETED PERMANENTLY
Cleaned emails are moved to Gmail Trash, where they stay for 30 days before Gmail removes them automatically. You can recover any email from Trash if you change your mind.

FREE TO START
Clean up to 2,500 emails at no cost. Unlock unlimited cleaning with Zen Pro — as a monthly or annual plan, or a one-time lifetime purchase.

WORKS WITH YOUR EXISTING GMAIL ACCOUNT
Sign in with Google — no new account needed. Zen Inbox Cleaner requests three Google OAuth scopes — to identify your account, read email metadata and move messages to Trash on your confirmation, and create cleanup filters on your behalf. Full details in the Privacy Policy.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-08-26

The free plan now keeps going.

Before, the free plan stopped for good once you had cleaned 2,500 emails. Now, after those first
2,500, Zen adds 250 more every month — so you can keep clearing your inbox at a slower pace without
paying anything. Unused monthly emails don't carry over.

Your auto-trash rules were never affected by that limit and still aren't. They're Gmail filters, so
they keep working either way.

Zen Pro prices have changed for new purchases. If you already have a subscription, your price stays
exactly as it is.

How Zen finds and groups your senders is unchanged.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-24

More Apps

Settings now has a "More Apps" section listing the other apps we make — SubSense, for seeing what
your subscriptions really cost you, and DocFind, for searching inside your PDFs instead of just
their names. Tap either one to see it on the App Store.

That's the only change in this version. Nothing about how Zen Inbox Cleaner finds and clears your
inbox has changed.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-10

Choose how you go Pro: Zen Pro is now available as a monthly plan, an annual plan, or the original one-time lifetime purchase. All three unlock unlimited cleanup and unlimited auto-trash rules.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-03

No release notes.
