Was mir aus Zen Koi 2 fehlt ist die Gestaltung eines eigenen Teiches. How about letting us chose a truly Zen mode without torture plants and torture bugs? This is supposed to be relaxing, not frustrating. What I mean by this, as the developer questioned me about it, is not plants and bugs being tortured, but plants and bugs are torturing the fish that we are taking care of. When my fish, not on purpose, has to swim through those red plants and red puffer bugs depending on which version of game I am playing, the whole screen around the outside turns red it is not a positive experience. What is the point of causing stress in a Zen game? Isn’t life stressful enough? **Developer response:** Hello and thanks for the feedback. We want Zen Koi to be a relaxing experience for all of our players. ### 4/5 — Zen Koi Pro Is Great! *2024-07-31* I love this version of zen koi. No ads, and a quicker game as well. I enjoy the lovely shiny colors of the rare fish. I appreciate the greater simplicity of this version as well. My only complaint is it is extremely difficult to close out the last few rare fish of each breed. I thought the new addition to the game where they give you fish to help you get the remaining ones would help. But I have played the same origin fish you send me twenty times without getting the fish I need. This gets boring and makes the game less fun. Please fix the algorithm so it is easier to finish our rare breeds. I love this game and thank you for your creative efforts. **Developer response:** Hello and thanks for your feedback. But for ten pound I expected playable dragons, a pond minigame and possibly even more exclusive stuff to do. This game feels pretty empty compared to its free counterpart. But I really am disappointed that U can’t collect dragon essence and built ur own pond with it… also I Miss the egg System a bit… Maybe the pond feature will be added too? PRO: no waiting for eggs to hatch, which can really slow down the other two games. CON: with the 50 slots you can end up raising duplicates since it doesn’t inform you. Also I miss my pearls and exotic koi. That being said, so far the koi follow the first game but more pearlescent. The bugs are following the second game. So any recent data, levelling up and dragons are all lost. **Developer response:** Hi there! Zen Koi Pro on Apple devices saves progress through iCloud. To ensure that your game data is saved, please connect your game to your iCloud account. To restore progress: Log in with the same Apple ID in the iOS device settings – your progress will be automatically detected and you will be given the option to restore it. If not, simply tap the Restore button found in Settings. The server will then pull up the progress you have linked before, and you can choose which one to restore. ### 1/5 — BORING !!!!! *2022-02-27, version 1.0.16* No way to aspire to anything - no way to outreach and trade - a very dumbed down version. You all gotta fix this. Got a response from the developer. They just don’t get it. On the other hand an adult coloring book based on your fish would sell well on Amazon. ### 2/5 — Welll….. *2024-07-03* I have loved Zen Koi one and two, so I bought this… twice, once for myself and once for my sister. I’m kind of disappointed. The goals are great and stuff, but without the ability to decorate up pond and earn a few decorations it feels kind of like I got half of an app. I know that wasn’t your intention lol, but perhaps a pond and the ability to awaken dragons to earn points in this game as well would be a good thing, especially if you allowed things like like the stones for changing the color in the pond. Do you know additional downloads for seasonal things wouldn’t be a bad idea either just keep them very peaceful. Halloween can be peaceful, even though would think that it can’t be. Some ideas for you to consider. Up to you…. but just remember your fan base equals money.🙃 **Developer response:** Hello, and thanks for the feedback. Do note that the pond decorating is a feature in Zen Koi 2. ### 2/5 — Not as good *2022-12-28* I love Zen Koi 2. Love the different fish, the pearls, and the friends. This game has none of that. Why couldn’t the developers find a way to make Zen Koi 2 playable without service? I think this is just a money grab so the dev can say they gave people what they wanted ( an offline game). When people wanted Zen Koi 2 to be playable offline. ### 2/5 — To What Point? *2022-08-02* While I love the ability to instantly hatch my eggs and having so many egg slots, this version of Zen Koi really takes away features. I personally could care less about the social aspect, but the lack of events or season koi really feels unjustified. This is supposed to be the pro version of zen koi, so why does it feel like it has less than the free-to-play versions? I love collecting things, but I would also like to feel rewarded for it. The lack of anything to do with your dragon points really makes the dragon points worthless. Honestly, it feels like they would’ve been better off making the original games have an offline option (you don’t really need internet to swim, breed, and ascend). They could’ve even done a premium option for hatch times and the slots and even the new shiny/metallic koi. This version of the games really feels like a hit and a miss, because ultimately it does not feel like a pro version at all. **Developer response:** Hello, thank you for your thoughtful review, and apologies for the very late reply. Fish come by to mate far too often and apparently the queue is infinite. I also miss all the things they removed. No daily objectives. No eggs. No pond. No shop. I hope they’ll add things back. Note that Koi mates can be driven off the same way as in ZK1/2 by bumping noses with them. Zen Koi Pro is also based off the original Zen Koi game, and is more streamlined so players can focus on collecting. As someone who absolutely adored the original, I was so happy that they added a new version that can be played anywhere, anytime. Eu pedi varias vezes para que tornassem o jogo offline, e finalmente fizeram. Cobraram por isso, mas como eu pedi muito pra ter o zen koi offline, é justo que eu pague pra ter o que eu sempre quis depois de muitos anos jogando gratuitamente. Reclamação: não ter como continuar a partir das coleções já completadas dos Zen Koi 1 e 2; e não ter disponível todos os padrões de peixe que existem no primeiro e segundo jogo. Vi reclamações sobre a ausência de um aquário pessoal customizável como há em Zen Koi 2, e sobre a ausência de trocas de peixes entre amigos, mas eu não sinto falta destes recursos. A única coisa que eu sempre quis mesmo foi poder jogar Zen Koi a qualquer momento, como no metrô e sem ser interrompido por falta de conexão com internet. E finalmente, aqui está. The new update DOES delete the thrill when you find a new koi pattern and get the new pattern BUT it tells you how to complete a collection! ALTHOUGH you can’t get pearls. I feel like pearls made the game interesting and I also feel like 50 slots isn’t enough! If you have time please at least add my second suggestion. No pressure!
