## Most critical reviews (4 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unable to connect

*2022-04-11*

App is unable to connect to zen studio+

I’ve tested on two iPhones and two iPads. Stuck on searching. Also the app never requests permission to access the network.

### 1/5 — What is the usage scenario for this app?

*2017-11-27*

This app really doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Something like the Zen Studio+ is almost tailor made to be THE perfect interface for IOS. Imagine being able to plug your iPad into it and be able to record 8 channels into Auria. Please, Antelope. Fulfill the potential for this great interface for doing really portable work. As it is, this app requires that the iPad and a computer are on the same wireless network, which just defeat the purpose of having such a portable interface.

### 2/5 — Pretty lame for a > $2000 audio interface

*2017-09-25*

Compared to the iPad app for e.g. an Allen & Heath Qu-Pac, this software does not impress, at all. It provides access to only a small subset of the features of the Antelope Zen Studio+. For example, you cannot control the effects sends, nor the reverb parameters.

Also not obvious from Antelope's documentation: this software cannot connect directly to the Zen Studio+, i.e. via a USB cable and Apple's camera connection adapter. Instead, the Zen Studio plus must be connected to a computer that is on the same wifi network as the iPad. So forget about a lightweight setup with just the iPad and the Zen Studio.

There is also no demo mode where you can get an idea of the functionality without having a device connected. This works in Antelope's favor: many buyers might have second thoughts about the whole device if the could see how lame this iPad software is.

Please try harder, Antelope.

### 4/5 — Great little app

So this covers the bases on preamp and monitoring control. Was hoping to see some in depth effects control. Maybe in a later release? Otherwise, responsive little app and definitely useful, especially for self-recording musicians, like me.
