STAY AWAY *2026-05-29, version 2026.07* I am not one to write reviews but I don’t want anyone in the same situation I have been in. Zenbusiness has caused more problems than any other company I have ever worked with. To be quite honest, the company has done nothing to benefit us at all. Here is what they do: you register, they trick you with their subscription models… after registering your business, they quickly take all of your info and sell it to brokerages. These brokerages, along with zen business call and call and call trying to tell you your business is at risk. I received thousands of these calls over the last year. There is no where on the website or app you can cancel your subscription. I had to email them to tell them I wanted to cancel. I received a response not addressing my initial inquiry, but instead, asking me for protected personal information that should never be exchanged via email. Absolute waste of money. Horrible business ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2026-05-28, version 2026.07* The app is outdated. The domain I created never worked and I never received any help or notification regarding my domain registration. I didn’t enjoy using this platform. ### 1/5 — Will charge you $400 a year for doing nothing *2026-05-28, version 2026.07* This is just a money grab at this point. They charge you $200 a year for being a registered agent for literally doing nothing and another $200 a year for their subscription which you don’t need but you have to have. There isn’t any way to cancel on their app and when you contact support they just stone wall you and refuse to cancel. You can literally do all of this stuff yourself and they are charging a premium for it. ### 1/5 — The Mobile Deposit experience is poor *2026-05-25, version 2026.07* The mobile deposit section of the app is buggy. It won’t allow you to take a clear picture because the image is captured automatically instead of being user controlled. Then, when you actually get what you think is a clear picture, you have to wait until a decision is made if accepted or not (usually taking a day). I waited in until I saw “clearing” but my check was arbitrarily declined for no apparent reason even after that point. “Unable to use image” it said but not sure why. This is extremely inconvenient ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE THEM! *2026-05-21, version 2026.07* Stay away, i paid for premium package and after 10 days my LLC still not formed and i received email that my state rejected it because of name conflict any accountant that forms LLC can check this in front of you and tell you choose something else before submitting to state, this people didn’t even bother, all they did gathered information and submitted as it is to state, why i paid $200 for this i still don’t know. Don’t do my mistake, stay away ### 1/5 — Trash Subscription charges *2026-05-14, version 2026.07* They try to sneak in a subscription that you don’t realize you signed up for until you start getting charged. They also don’t make it easy to cancel the subscription or get a refund. It was rather annoying as someone who is starting a business and doesn’t have time to be on the phone or chatting with support to get a cancellation for a subscription in ever wanted or asked for or physically signed up for. ### 1/5 — DONT USE THEM BAD REFUND POLICY *2026-05-04, version 2026.06* Didn’t refund my subscription and charged my card. This company likes to put several ads in front of you distracting you from the options you’re selecting. By all rights you can and should only choose entry level package that costs only $50 for the state level fees and free as far as subscription. When it comes to the REGISTERED AGENT section be very careful as they will bind you in a legal catch all saying you clicked so it’s your own fault. You actually can be your own registered agent. You don’t need zen business to be registered agent. The $199 fee with that they took out my account no warning and said oh well you clicked it it’s your fault. The management was very rude disrespectful. Gave me false call back number I still have that voicemail. This company is like so many others putting the option to click big and the fine print of the cost small as they legally can. **Developer response:** We would like speak with you in regards to your experience with us but are unable to locate your account with the information provided. Instead of my own EIN letter, they sent me the IRS notice for a completely different business — full name, home address, and federal tax ID of a stranger. That’s a serious data handling failure, not a typo. On top of that: long wait times, slow support, and I still don’t have the correct document for my own business days later. It has been 3 months and customer service will only put you on hold. It is impossible to reach anyone who can actually help you out and reviewing a refund is completely off the table.
