Algo interesante es que tiene los comentarios de Tripadvisor directamente. Por qué digo que interesante, hice una reserva por Booking y encontré un hotel con muchos comentarios, resultaron siendo falsos y el alojamiento una estafa, ahora estoy en disputa de cargos y otras cosas incomodas con esa aplicación, por esto es bueno que traiga comentarios directos de otras apps. ### 4/5 — Fraud *2024-03-26, version 7.2.5* After reading the previous reviews, I realize that my experience is not alone. There is technical error and wrong rooms were booked. Although it takes 5 hours to solve the incident during the vacation. The problem is finally solved. You have to go through the whole payment process every time only to learn that the room isn’t available. Massive waste of time. ### 1/5 — Do thorough research before booking *2025-06-03, version 8.8.1* I booked a stay with ZenHotels and after the website kept crashing out I should have took it as a sign and a red flag. I originally found on their website my stay coming out to a little over $500. The website crashed and could not honor that price but for inconvenience gave me a coupon. When I went to rebook it was 606 not bad but I guess that was just base price and more fees were included after the 606. I booked cause I thought I could use my coupon codes however I regret that I did. I happen to check the official website and I am basically paying $200 extra then what’s on the official website. I just wanted to see if they could partially refund me for overcharging me by a lot. I’m staying 2 nights and being charged $700 versus $500. I wish I could say better things but I won’t. Don’t trust google search engine to do its job go the old fashioned route and do it yourself. If they reach out and help I will update you otherwise please be cautious and research other alternatives before booking with ZenHotels. ### 1/5 — Worst Ever *2025-01-07, version 8.4.2* This application provides inaccurate booking information and forces you to pay compensation due to incorrect booking categories. They keep procrastinating and delaying the resolution process, leaving you waiting in the lobby until you lose patience with their unfulfilled promises. I will never book through them again—this was my first and last time. ### 1/5 — Avoid ZenHotels at all costs *2024-08-09, version 7.4.0* Do not book with this travel agency they are a fraudulent company and scammers. I booked a hotel stay in June and the hotel granted me a partial refund for inconveniences. The hotel informed me and provided receipts and evidence that ZenHotels / Expedia Groups received the refund from the hotel. It’s been over 30 days and ZenHotels today is still REFUSING to refund me the money. Customer service and their managers are incompetent and won’t give me a yes or no if they’ll refund me or a timeframe of when I should receive the refund. It’s been a month and they just give me the run around. Very poor services all around! The website is so laggy, the customer service is terrible, avoid this company at all costs! ### 1/5 — Rip off deals triple the original price *2024-05-13, version 7.2.5* I downloaded this app to get a hotel for $135 from a travel app, falling for ZenHotels “get a better price downloading Zen app”. After downloading this app the same hotel price was triple the price. ### 1/5 — Sketchy prices and horrible customer service *2024-02-18, version 7.2.3* I was trying to book the room in Rixos Borovoe Hotel, very luxury hotel. And prices for the night on this app - “zen hotels” was lower then on the other websites. So I emailed them with the question: if the listed price on their website is the final price and I won’t end up paying anything extra at the hotel upon arrival? After a couple back and forth automated emails, instead of giving me any answers they just bumped the price on their website😑 Still no response! Seams like scam…be careful! ### 1/5 — Refund request *2023-10-30, version 7.1.11* This is to alert Everyone. I recently purchased a room, where it clearly stated that I would be able to cancel if done before November 17, with a complete refund. Well come to find out. The cancellation policy on my booking email was in a completely different language. Apparently once you purchase you room. The information changed and so is a language you won’t know so that it now states. My entire email was in English, except that part. What a coincidence. So, I tried to reach out to the company and just got the run around from the person who was handling my situation. This is very frustrating and disappointing. It’s like a scam, fraudulent behavior, dishonest. I asked to speak to a manager and the call/chat was disconnected. I have yet to get an answer or a refund. So please be aware of you booking email and check the cancellation portion where it changes into a different language. You can take screenshots, etc and they will not honor it. At least that was my experience. This was my first time using this app. Do not recommend. ### 1/5 — False advertising *2023-09-29, version 7.1.11* The website says “rooms are cheaper in the app” yet it costs $103 in the app and was only $98 on the website… ### 1/5 — Error Messages Up the Yin Yang *2022-06-20, version 6.1.7* Tried to book on a desktop from work, called customer service, was told the error message was due to technical difficulties. Followed all steps advised by Zen Hotels rep, cleared cache, waited the recommended time etc, same thing happened again. Then I called again, this time I was advised to download the mobile app, wait an hour and potentially change the form of payment. Talk about shady! Save yourself the trouble and Go SPLITTY! they truly saved the day. ### 1/5 — The wrost booking app all time. *2022-01-12, version 6.0.6* When I went to my hotel I spent 1 hour in the lobby waiting because the manager says that I have no reservation in his hotel but I made my reservation 1 week before I got there. He also ask me for additional charge because as he said what I paid on zen hotel was only for the reservation. They never mentioned this on the app. I got upset and leave. Asked for refund but they stole my money. Don’t try this app it’s a complete mess.
