Read included Chinese Buddhist texts and return to your daily practice. READ: Continue from your last position. Horizontal and vertical reading are free, as is the Heart Sutra calligraphy scroll. STUDY: Keep the Chinese text beside passage notes and terms. RESEARCH: Search included texts, terms, bookmarks and your notes. MEMORIZE: Practice with the full text, first-character cues or hidden text. Judge your own recall; the app does not grade it. COPY: Trace the Heart Sutra and save your work. Great Compassion Mantra copying and exporting work require Pro. DAILY PRACTICE: Set a passage, repetition or time goal. Pick up an unfinished task. The Chinese collection has 11 scripture and mantra entries. Check each edition and scope in the app. The Avatamsaka entry includes the chapter on Samantabhadra's vows, not the whole sutra. English text is excerpted, not a full translation of the Chinese collection. The Chinese text is in simplified characters. System Chinese read-aloud, ambient sounds and a timer are optional. Included texts and basic practice tools are free. Pro is a one-time purchase for other calligraphy scrolls, paper and borders, advanced memorization, Great Compassion Mantra copying and long-image/PDF export, instrument and chant-inspired sounds, and full practice history. No subscription or ads. Included content and local tools work offline; purchases and restoration need a connection to Apple. No login. Zenrain writes the passage notes for study; specialists have not reviewed them. Your reading position, bookmarks, notes, copying work and practice records stay on this device. No third-party behavior tracking. There is no in-app data backup or cross-device sync yet. ## Key features - Sutra Rain visual experience - Guided 4-step meditation - 9 real-time generative soundscapes - 10 classic sutras with glossary - Immersive and sleep modes - 100% offline and private ## Pricing and in-app purchases Base price: Free. **One-time purchases** | Purchase | Price | Type | | --- | --- | --- | | Zenrain Pro Lifetime | $9.99 | one-time | ## Is Zenrain safe?
