They charge de amount but doesn’t let to create the account so your money doesn’t goes back. By the end of 30 days the charge is making again. ### 1/5 — FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY *2022-11-08, version 1.2.20* This bank is very bad and they just make money by a charging fee. very gross user interface and app experience are full of crap even a kid can make a better app than this. ### 1/5 — They charge $50 fee to submit application! *2022-05-21, version 1.2.18* They want to charge everyone a $50 fee to apply for their “service” which is a great way to scam people into paying money to “apply” and then they reject you, keep the $50, and rinse and repeat. I wasn’t low IQ enough to apply, but I’ve never seen anything like this where you need to pay to apply. It’s legitimate businesses do not request anyone pay before they approve you. You pay $50 just to apply, even if they reject your application — and it’s non-refundable. Then, they charge a $50 monthly membership fee whether you use the account or not. If you miss 3 monthly payments, your account will be suspended and you may lose access to your funds. Also, your money is NOT FDIC insured — if anything happens to the bank, your money could be lost forever. They will get the money and decline the application ### 1/5 — Abysmal IT and customer service *2025-01-20* On the 5th of December 2024, I downloaded the Zenus Bank app and tried to open a bank account. Unfortunately, the passport Scan function to verify my identity was not working with my IPhone 15. I contacted the customer service department the same day, December 5th 2024. Three weeks later, the Zenus Bank IT department had still not resolved their passport scan issue on their app, and I was still unable to create a Zenus bank account. I requested a refund from the company until their issue was resolved, and they advised me they would proceed with a refund on December 26th 2024. Almost a month later, January 20th 2025, and I have still not received any refund from Zenus. I have unfortunately now had to file a dispute through my Credit Card provider. Absolutely abysmal customer service and IT department with immense delays and not following up on their actions. At the end, on the last step, the app has an error message that can’t be solved, it looks like a bug and done. I asked to get my money back, they said no. I will also inform apple about that because you need first to pay the fee and then the app has an issue. Te piden los últimos 4 dígitos de alguna tarjeta de crédito. Y con eso es más que suficiente para que te hagan cargos por membresías que jamás contrataste. Son unos rateros! Ya estoy presentando cargos por robo con quien resulte responsable @apple. Intensifica las apps que pones en tu tienda. Delincuencia descarada ### 1/5 — Es una estafa! No pre pagar *2023-05-03, version 2.2.1* Te piden que pongas usd50 para haver el proceso de aprobación de la cuenta y solicitud. Es un proceso muy engorroso con errores y si no lo completas o aportas un dato mal simplemente rechazan tu aplicación y te roban literalmente el dinero. Yes this my own opinion. $50 fee for application is a little steep In my opinion but understandable. Some of us are you coming here because we may not be able to get an account with our local bank for various reasons. Therefore, you may have an issue getting account here.
