Reached out for support on discord and app developers never responded. It gets stuck on the splash screen. Tried on my iPhone 16 pro and iPad and even deleted/redownloaded. It doesn’t work. When I got the app, I was never billed directly and I didn’t realize it costs money until I was billed after I downloaded the app. Typically, I need my face id when downloading any new app, so I didn’t realize that I was gonna get charged for the app when I tried to download it. ### 2/5 — Slow novel updates *2025-08-09* First off the app works as described. Cool. However, in the two months I have had the app it has consistently added titles days after the website. Sometime books are added a couple of days after the website, sometimes it is more like a week later. Given the app’s price this is extremely disappointing. ### 2/5 — App not working *2025-06-04* I just got the app and it’s not working ## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — The app is really good *2025-12-13* I love it it is worth it not to mention also it is good to support the JNovel community the only thing I don’t like about this app is that there is no PDF only ebooks available and Ebooks are not really compatible with the iPhone text to speech function that allows for multi tasking and it doesn’t have a category section or recommendations but like I said you won’t regret it 😇 the only really regret is that a lot of books are not available on the app but you can find it on their website **Developer response:** Hello, Thank you for the kind words and support! Don’t check me on that lol) light and web novels from their website. A little pricy however that is likely because of Apple as this app was cheaper in past iterations and for other app stores than IOS. An earlier review mentions the app not working and I had a similar issue however customer support is very helpful and fixed the problem within 12 hours. ### 5/5 — Works good for what it does *2024-07-06* Before you buy this app is just like the website but zero ads and wait timers. Its pretty much pay to remove ads permanently. Definitely recommend. It even shows the latest content so you know what just dropped. it works extremely well with my text to speech app. Just one click to send over and start reading the file. ### 3/5 — Has potential *2023-09-10* So, let's start by going into detail about what this app is. Instead of reading light novels directly from the app, it downloads the files.
