### 1/5 — Junk

*2026-09-09*

Scan the same card and keep getting different grades every time

**Developer response:** You’re right. The same card should get a reasonably consistent grade, and we’re sorry that didn’t happen.

Even PSA, TAG, and other grading companies can give different grades when a card is cracked and resubmitted, but the results shouldn’t vary wildly. Different photos can affect the grade, especially if there’s glare, shadows, blur, or a slight change in angle.

For the best results, remove the card from its sleeve or holder, clean your camera lens, use bright indirect light, place it on a flat contrasting background, and make sure every corner and edge is clear.

If you’re still getting very different grades, please contact us through the app and send us the scans so we can look into it.

### 4/5 — Nice app to have before sending cards away to grade

*2026-08-29*

Love the app amazing and kind developer only problem is I left a 1 star review saying it didn’t work and only had 2 of my scans returned when I used well over 15. Please check and advise

**Developer response:** Sorry about that. Most scan problems come down to lighting or angle, so try even light with no glare and lay the card flat instead of holding it up.

If it still fails, email hello@zeropop.app with your phone model and the card you were scanning. I'll look into it and write back.

Robert, ZeroPop

### 1/5 — Thinks 25th anniversary is a sticker

*2026-08-17*

I used my LAST free scan on the cyntias garchomp anniversary card and it got a 4.5 because it thought the cyntia photo was a STICKER same with the 25 anniversary on the left side of the card TERRIBLE APP DO NOT RECOMMEND

**Developer response:** I dug into your exact scan and you were right. The grader read the printed gold 25th anniversary badge and the small Cynthia portrait on your Celebrations Garchomp C LV.X as stickers stuck on the card, and that wrongly tanked your surface score to a 4.5. It also mislabeled the card as a Supreme Victors Charizard G, which is why the price looked off too. Both were bugs on our end, both are fixed, and the fix is already live. I regraded your card with the correct data: it's a 7.0 now (the corner and edge wear is real, but the surface is clean), with the right card, set, and price. I also added 15 free scans to your account, no email needed. Thanks for the writeup. Reports like this make the grader better for everyone.

### 2/5 — Decent grader

*2026-08-03*

Maybe with time. I think it’s not bad for centering but it’s been drastically over grading with 9s for corners, edges, and surface that would realistically be 6 or a lucky 7.

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to write this up, and for grading against your own tools. Feedback this specific is rare and genuinely useful.

You nailed the centering point. We measure centering instead of eyeballing it, exactly because most AI graders fall apart there, so hearing it line up with your centering tool means a lot.

On corners, edges, and surface, your read matches what we see internally. Those three run a little optimistic against strict graders, and tightening them is what we are heads down on right now. We want accuracy, not friendly grades, so we are calibrating those three down to match.

On Slab or Sell, you caught a real bug and we already fixed it. The newest version pulls real sold comps for graded cards, so a 1968 Brooks Robinson PSA 10 will show a true market value, not $56. Update and rescan it and you should see the difference. If anything still looks off, email me, I want to see it.

Really appreciate you pushing us.

### 1/5 — U keep grading my psa 10 8.5?lol

*2026-07-18*

Ya this site is at best way too stingy cause I’ve looked at multiple of my PSA 10 graded cards and they’re getting anywhere between eight and 8.5 points

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, this is genuinely helpful. A couple things worth knowing: if you’re scanning cards inside their slabs, glare off the case can lower what the AI sees, so raw or well-lit, glare-free photos give the most accurate read. It’s also worth noting that ZeroPop grades every card fresh against consistent, current standards, so it can occasionally read a card differently than the grade on the label, especially on older slabs. We’d rather give you an honest, consistent assessment than an inflated one. That said, we recalibrate regularly and examples like yours help us improve, so please reach out through the app and we’ll take a look at your scans.

### 1/5 — Scam app

*2026-07-15*

Really bad app …. Vibe coded slop with not skill don’t download it’s a complete scam

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry to hear ZeroPop missed the mark for you. It’s a real product built and maintained by an indie developer, with AI grading estimates, collection tracking, and live pricing, plus a free tier so you can try everything before paying. If something didn’t work as expected, reach out through the support link on our App Store page and we’ll make it right. Robert, ZeroPop

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-06-30*

Great

### 3/5 — Decent grader

*2026-06-14*

Very preliminary. May be about 1 grade level optimistic in corners, edges, and surface compared to my other graders but spot on for centering compared to my centering tool, which is saying something. For some reason, most ai really struggle with centering. The sell or slab function needs help. A psa 10 1968 Brooks Robinson is NOT a $56 card.

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to write this up, and for grading against your own tools. Feedback this specific is rare and genuinely useful.

### 5/5 — So Cool!

*2026-05-21*

Awesome app! Was able to quickly scan my nephews cards for him and he got so excited to see what they could be worth.

This is a must for any collector.

### 5/5 — Great APP

*2026-05-14*

I used this against minty slab and zeropop is hands down a better app than MS. It picks up the card very well and the centering information is spot on when comparing it to a Manuel centering tool. The surface scans are really good too. This app is now part of my grading process. The only complaint i have is the ebay comps are a little off but i am not using it for that feature. I use the scan tool on ebay app for that. All and all, this is a great AI app that picks up the card very easily with no problems. It is now a major part of my grading protocol.

- Check in 7 days in a row for a free scan.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-08-20

Drops

Scanning earns points. Points win real cards.

A new drop opens every week: one headline card and a shelf of others. Some are straight claims, some run as live auctions you can bid on until the clock runs out. There is nothing to buy and no way to buy points. If you have scanned before, you already have some.

The Vault

Portfolio and Sets are one tab now.

Your collection value and its chart sit up top. Under it: the sets you are closest to finishing, your binders by game, and the cards that moved most this week. One place to open the app to.

The ZeroPop 50

A market index built from what collectors here actually scan, drawn on your own chart, so you can see whether your collection beat the market this week or lagged it.

Price alerts

Tap the bell on any card and we tell you when its price moves. Checked daily.

Your first scan, rebuilt

The first card you scan opens every section of the report, Pro and Ultra included, so you see the whole thing before you decide anything. There are fewer screens between the shutter and the grade, the camera page shows you the frame before it asks for the camera, and the notifications screen says what we actually send instead of asking you to guess.

Fixed

Your Vault now fills in while your collection downloads, instead of waiting for you to leave the tab and come back.

Set progress shows real counts on a fresh install instead of estimates.

A graded card keeps its real name and number from the first moment it appears, instead of renaming itself a second later.

A scan that fails keeps the card so you can retry it. It used to disappear.

Prices stay hidden on free accounts everywhere they should be, including the card price screen.

Drops tells you how many more points you need instead of leaving a button you cannot press.

Less stutter between the last photo and the grade.

### 1.5.7 — 2026-08-06

Grading reports

Every graded card now has a full report. The four subgrades, the close ups
behind them, and what we saw on each one. Save it, print it, or send a buyer
a link. Free on every tier, as many as you want.

Check our work, corner by corner

Areas of Interest rebuilds each face from close ups of its own corners and
edges, so you can see what the grade was actually based on. Tap any crop to
open it full screen. Damage markers now land on the damage instead of near
it, on the back of the card as well as the front.

Scan as fast as you like

Turn off Auto-Open Grade in Settings and just shoot front and back, card
after card. Scans grade in the background while you keep going, and the new
Recents list lets you watch them land.

Sets tab, rebuilt

Three sets to a row, filter by game, and pin the ones you are working on.
Duplicate sets are gone, card counts are real, and sibling sets are one tap
away. The Set Tracker is now a ranked list that tells you where you actually
stand.

Faster

No more freezing when you open Sets, no stutter scrolling the feed, and a
card shows the same price everywhere you look at it.

Also in this release

Identify mode no longer hangs after you ask it for a grade
Scan tutorials moved into Settings, one for each scanning mode
Portfolio holdings are card tiles now, sorted from tabs
A lapsed subscription drops to free instead of showing the wrong scan count
Export or delete all of your data from Settings
Filters and sorting cross fade instead of flashing the whole grid
