## What is ZeroSecret?

ZeroSecret lets you send private messages that self-destruct after a single view. No accounts, no sign-ups, no data collection — just end-to-end encrypted notes that disappear forever once read.

HOW IT WORKS
Write your secret message in the app. ZeroSecret encrypts it on your device using AES-256-GCM military-grade encryption before anything leaves your phone. You get a unique link to share with your recipient. The encryption key exists only inside that link — our servers never see it. When the recipient opens the link, the message is decrypted locally and permanently deleted from the server. One view, then gone. No trace remains.

ZERO KNOWLEDGE ARCHITECTURE
ZeroSecret is built so that even we cannot read your messages. The server only stores meaningless encrypted blobs. The decryption key lives exclusively in the shareable link and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. This isn't a marketing claim — it's how the cryptography works.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
No data is collected. No accounts exist to breach. IP addresses are used only for rate limiting and are never stored. Notes auto-expire even if never opened. After deletion, recovery is impossible — by anyone, including us.
