Warning spoilers for the game. Here are some issues and recommendations I think would fix them. First of all mistranslations the game is originally in another language so some inaccuracies in the translation is understandable. Here are some of the mistranslations I’ve noticed so far. In the fight with Yebin and Mujin against the annihilator. The dialogue “Yebins voice pierces through the chaos as she fends off attackers” very obviously this is a mistranslation because Yebins a he and this is an BL game. The second line that I think is a mistranslation is when Taeju says “I don’t want to hear about your nights with Euihyun” which might be a mistranslation or just Taeju being mischievous and completing Sols sentence. The second thing is when leveling up Espers I might have a tier two crystal for one of the level up sequences but when I’m leveling up new characters, this is inefficient so can you add a decompose option option along with the crafting option that allows you to turn multiple tier 1 crystals to tier 2? So that I can reduce one of my tier two crystals to a smaller one like in genshin. Third thing is probably the most important one to me, but I wish there to be a story mode for levels you’ve already unlocked so when I want to review the plot. I don’t want to waste my battle rations just to fight all over again to see the plot. So can you add a story button similar to reverse 1999’s to the levels that have a story that you’ve already unlocked so you won’t have to fight that whole level to see the plot. The fourth one is can you add a timer or something similar to the rechargeable rations window so people playing the game can see when their rations recharge. Overall thoughts and actual review with my feelings! The marketing made it seem like all of the characters would be datable, and it would be more MC centered, but it isn’t and rather the plot develops with multiple existing sub couples. So if you came for the man with red hair like a lot of the fandom, know that he is already in a relationship. I came for Ju Seongjae but was disappointed to realize he’s not datable and is currently in a semi romantic relationship in the game. The protag you play as is also a bottom and is non-customizable so the only characters you have a semi romantic relationship with is Mujin and Yebin who are both tops. So if you wanted to crack one of the bottoms they advertised sadly you can’t…I came for Ju Seongjae and wanted to leave when I realized he wasn’t datable but I’m staying for the plot because the story is surprisingly well developed and I like it very much. If they don’t fix some of the bugs though I might go crazy and quit. Edit: ADD THE STORYLINE FEATURE, if the story is your key selling point that the majority of your fan base likes then please stop making it so inaccessible. The story mode button I’m asking for doesn’t even give in game rewards. If you use battle rations and fight the actual battle then yes you should get the reward! If not then of course no! I’m just saying add a button to review the story that doesn’t require you fighting a useless battle for rewards you might not even want while wasting rations. I made this suggestion months ago and the only thing that was fixed was the ration recharge timer! ### 2/5 — Fun but… *2026-06-30, version 1.13.0* Update: I ended up dropping it. Every new update nerfs FtP players even more and it’s still too hard to level up my characters. I really liked the story and the characters. So I was really looking forward to it and the gameplay and story are fun but it’s way too hard to get espers and it’s censored in a really dumb way? I’ve done 130 pulls and only gotten 3 espers total. And of the three SSR cards I’ve gotten, only one was an esper. The pricing is also really high. It’ll offer you a chance to buy an esper when you get the corresponding guide but it costs $30 to buy enough of the resource you need for it and there’s no other way to earn that resource. I do like the guaranteed drop after 100 draws for the banners though. You do get a good amount of the resource you can use to help buy tickets for summons by completing levels or achievements but once you run out of either of those you’ll probably be back to paying again. Still, the story is interesting and I like the characters so I’ll keep playing for a bit longer, but it would be nice if the developers rethought the cost for resources and the pull rate for espers because they really aren’t good. Edit: after more play time, I definitely won’t be spending money on this game. I did manage to get both of the banner drops but when I do standard recruitment and hit the 100 mark that guarantees a SRR gold drop, once again I only got a Guide and it was one I already had. I have all these Guides and no Espers to match them to so I’m not sure how I’m supposed to proceed when I can’t get anything to help me fight? Also, the battles start getting super hard even around the second chapter because you don’t have anything to give an advantage against the enemies since you can’t get any espers that have the right attack types. Definitely needs a lot more polish. Edit 2: probably going to drop it. Seems like every update they add more stuff to pay for and make it harder to obtain resources to level up. Not sure why they changed the stamina recharge rate to take a whole day to get it all back when it was originally every couple of hours, especially when you can spam sweeps in a location that’s supposed to drop a particular leveling item, and only get 2 of the item in 300 sweeps. Can’t progress the story because I can’t level my characters. Can’t get anything other than guides in pretty much every 10x pull I do and 4 out of the 6 times I’ve gotten the guaranteed SSR drop for the standard non-event pulls, I’ve gotten a guide and 2 of those were the SAME guide. I do a 10x pull almost every day and I’m still missing several espers but I have a million copies of every non-event guide. It’s disappointing because I find the characters and story interesting despite the bad censoring but it’s not fun to constantly be stuck and unable to progress because I can’t level. Also, my chat log that I only get one chat opportunity a day on, has suddenly deleted itself so I can’t remember what was said and when I tried doing my chat for today anyways it just ate my attempt and never gave me a response. ### 4/5 — Sympa mais améliorable *2026-05-31* Point positif : - Pour un jeu tour par tour format téléphone, le jeu est beau, les personnages sont bien faits et les décors sont travaillés. - L’histoire est simple mais bien faite. Il y a un minimum d’ambition. - Le jeu est généreux au niveau des récompenses pour les invocations. Je suis free to play mais, pourtant, j’ai presque tous les SSR sans avoir à farmer énormément. - Il y a des Collab très sympas avec des manhwa très connu. C’est super cool. - Dommage qu’il n’y est pas de sous titre français mais l’anglais utilisé est largement compréhensible. - De plus, l’histoire principale est entièrement doublée, ce qui est très appréciable. - Pour finir, l’équipe de développement a l’air investi sur le jeu, on a des Maj régulières et des Events spéciales qui développent les nouveaux personnages. Point négatif : - Étonnement, le jeu est plutôt dur. J’ai beau avoir des personnages à un niveau acceptable, il y a des moments où on est vraiment bloqué. Je pense notamment aux boss de fin de chapitres. Le jeu doit pouvoir s’adapter à tous (ceux qui aime le challenge et les autres, comme moi, qui veulent juste suivre l’histoire). Dommage. - Lié au point précédent, c’est très difficile de monter les skills des personnages. Autant les niveaux, avec du temps, cela peut se faire, mais il faut vraiment s’investir sur un seul personnage pour espérer l’améliorer. - Les animations des attaques ultimes, voire des attaques tout courts, sont assez décevantes. Par comparaison, Zerowake est sortie en 2025 et arrive à faire moins bien que Fate/Grand Order sortie il y a 10 ans (pourtant déjà considéré comme vieillissant). Pour conclure, c’est un jeu avec des qualités notables, il y a des super points positifs mais il y a aussi des gros points négatifs qui sont vraiment gênants. I have spent quite of bit of money on the link chat (seriously sooo fun) but in this recent update you are limited financially. It used to be $12.99 for 500 and now it is $16 for 480. The 1 discounted tickets a day are reduced only 5 a month (for special banners). I have played every chapter, have multiple characters up to max lvl 80, so link chat was my favorite thing. Usually I wait longer. But I feel like this game deserves recognition and should be considered worth playing by potential players looking for BL gacha with good rpg elements. I’ve tried several others and some are just pure cash grabs. Some are just poor quality. And some don’t actually cater to the market they claim to be marketing out of fear of losing out revenue by providing the content their demographic is looking for. The character designs are really good. The battle system is engaging… it’s not easy or dumbed down to focus purely on grabbing the newest characters. It’s difficult and time consuming to farm and grow your characters. But I feel like that adds a layer of challenge that other games miss out on. It feels more rewarding when you get what you want or need for your characters. You can’t bruise or buy your way through the storyline (I mean you probably can if you’re a whale.. which is absolutely fine). I don’t like how long it takes. But at the same time I realize it makes me want to come back more. It takes elements from other BL gachas, but it just does them better. There’s of course room for improvement with the dialogue. But I’m personally not really playing for the dialogue. I’m playing because the characters are extremely well designed and the battle system is engaging. This of course may change over time. But I think as of “right now” this game is definitely worth considering. The more players we get the better the game can get. There are sooo many bugs from the events page not working, to character models bugging out and ghosting all on different screens, the ai chats switching between Korean and English for no reason (not to mention taking forever to load and giving ONE link battery a day), and the mileage and chip shop seem to have their currencies switched. And there are big quality of life issues. It’s so hard to get sr espers now that they removed the guarantee from banners, leveling up espers and their guides take forever since you only get 3-4 command seals a day/the update to battle rations, and it’s much harder to get a ssr esper that you want now that it seems that they’ve pulled them from the purple chip shop. I was really excited for this games concept and seeing characters from familiar series be represented, but there are too many issues now to ignore. **Developer response:** Hello, this is Storytaco. The game has gotten worse throughout the patches. Instead of making changes to the game to make the players experience better, they instead made changes to make players experience worse. They nerfed the battle pass by taking out a lot of the pulling currency needed to get characters, also changed the discounted limited tickets from 1 daily to 5 a month, this is not player friendly. If devs reads this, please actually listen to your players feedback. For anyone else reading this, please be wary that the first minute of the story involves a massive orgyfest that has noises and non-descriptive silhouette. ### 1/5 — New update what the heck *2026-01-23, version 1.6.0* Absolutely sucks. I deleted the game along with many others. I don’t see the point in playing anymore when I’m waiting like 11 hours for stamina to refill. And you pretty much have to pay for Espers now. But also the fact that relics are annoying and hard to obtain just to level up a character a little. And I never liked all the involvement with ai. Aswell asking if “kill me if you can”, melting point, blood poker (which is a guideverse), or the hunter wants to live quietly. The story is nice, a bit interesting, but it might feel a bit clunky to some. I enjoy the SSR animations, especially Seungho’s. I am really happy that I got his SSR and his signature SSR of him and Nakyum under 30 pulls. I enjoy doing the battles, it’s simple and repetitive which I enjoy because it’s not something that requires weeks to understand. I play both on apple and on Samsung (so the censored and uncensored ver) so I can see the bugs and the teams effort to work on both. They listen to the community and it’s been a fun experience. What makes this an extremely enjoyable game is not only the concept and the constant new features and events, it’s the joy of seeing a new collab event with series I’ve read before! If I haven’t read a series before, it gets me to read the series!
