When I checked with Zest money customer care they told me that the loan was provided by Hero fincorp and it will take 1 month to resolve the issue as the loan is from Hero fincorp. It is been more than 3 months and there is no resolution still. And their customer care is of no use as they will repeat the same answer no matter how much you explain them that this is effecting my credit profile but they did not take it seriously. I request everyone to not to use this app and fall prey. I am stuck here with no resolution and my future loans are effecting because of Zest money’s fault. ### 1/5 — Waste App *2023-09-26, version 1.1.12* More than yer of thought applying for zest money give credit limit,I did not used it for then 10 months they were keep n calling plz use are limit get offers and cashback one day I used it even making all payments on time even befor due date they reported to cibil that missed my payments another issue even after making all the payment before due dates they blocked my credit limit and third thing as they promised I will get a cashback on each time when I will pay emi and in actual they are not paying back the cashback to me since 5 months multiple calls to zest support and they keep on saying you will get it 10 days or 15 days with that 5 months gone me still haven't received any cashback fir the EMIs I have paid beware guys this compwill block your limit without any reason, they will report wrong to cibil and will make your score down and they will stop paying cashback and will say it's a techinacal issue I never recommend zest money to anyone they trapp you and you will be harassed trust me.q ### 1/5 — Pathetic service, I’m never gonna choose zest again *2023-09-01, version 1.1.12* I bought my iPhone 14 pro through zest last year as it gives you interest Cashback And found it more convenient to use this rather to spend all at once for the iPhone but it was worst decision of my life. They never give you your interest on time each month I have to email them again and again for Cashback which they give after 3 months and this cycle keeps going. Today as well I haven’t received my Cashback since last 2 months and now I even know what they will say wait till 15th of September and when I email on 16th then they will tell wait till 30th September. They are pathetic for real. ### 1/5 — Couldn’t get the app to work *2023-08-27, version 1.1.12* To many technical flaws in the app. Could not even get it to work. To get started the app sends an automated SMS from your phone to verify your number, I’ve tried that multiple times for about a week and also deleted and re-downloaded the app, the message never gets sent and I get an error saying “No internet connection” - when I have internet connection and every other app works more than fine. You guys need to get these issues sorted ASAP or you’ll surely be losing out on a potential customers like me because I honestly can’t even register/get my phone number verified because of some technical flaws on your end 😅 ### 1/5 — Interest Cashback *2023-08-16, version 1.1.12* This is the worst money lending app I have ever seen. These guys take forever to resolve an issue and the customer care people are not at all responsible and don't understand the urgency or need of your problem. They just give us a repetitive generic answer as an automated message. They don't have a good technology in place which should have a sync among their platforms. The customer care executives come up with new excuses or issues every time we call them, and there's no good collaboration within their team,from past 6months they haven’t been able to give me my cashback and excuses they give are technical issues 😂please guys don’t use this app🙏🏻 ### 1/5 — Worst app I have seen ever *2023-08-14, version 1.1.12* I had taken two loans last year I had paid them all without any due then also they are not showing any credit offer to me from last year there bolt also works nicely first 2,3 months after that they don’t provide you bolt also the worst app I have ever used after paying my all dues on time also when I need credit limit they are not giving any credit offers and when I ask customer care they say system will update it when you are eligible my credit score is also good 😂but there system doesn’t work properly ### 1/5 — False promise + fraud company = zest *2023-07-26, version 1.1.12* I took an education loan for higher studies with no cost interest with 5 months terms. It’s been 4 months since EMI started and 4/5 EMIs are paid. But the interest amount not refunded yet. I contacted customer care and was told within 3 working days they will sort out. But it’s been a two weeks after contacted customer care, no response and no refund yet. I further enquired about this zest money with my course mates. No positivity about interest refund matters. Everybody has to struggle to get their interest refund. Procured a zero interest loan and made on time payments. And it’s more than 3 months and no interest cash back yet. Contacted their support via email provided and every time I am being asked to wait for one more month. So if Zest is responding to my feedback here; don’t ask to contact or send email to your support as I have been receiving worst replies from it already. Very very bad experience since 3 months for cash back.😡😡😡 ### 1/5 — Pathetic company and there staff *2023-05-18, version 1.1.9* This is the most pathetic company that i have ever deal with, this company doesn't follow any tat or any deadline neither stick to professionalism, they keep debiting your instalments on time but doesn't issue the cash-back on time, everytime when you call them they will give you some new date and will ask you to wait till then, and after calling on the given date, these people will give you new date and thats it. Pathetic support persons they have, they even don't know how to talk properly to their customers. Won't recommend anyone to use zest money anytime. Pathetic irresponsible company. ### 1/5 — Fraud app *2023-04-20, version 1.1.9* They provide interest free EMIs. For small amounts it’s okay. I purchased my MacBook Pro using their no cost emi option where they told interest will be refunded within 7-10 working days. For the first two months although there was delay in refund but they refunded the interest in my account. After that for the last three months I haven’t received the interest cashbacks which is approx 1k(MacBook and apple care both). I’d followed up with there technical team almost 15-20 times on call they were very polite and insured that there was some technical issue but it will be resolved very soon. Every time they assured the same thing but no resolution has been provided till now. In fact I’ve filed a complaint against them in consumer court. Finally I won’t recommend anyone to go with their no cost emi policy, it’s fake they won’t return your interest back. ### 1/5 — Pathetic Support team. Cashback never gets credited on time *2023-04-18, version 1.1.9* The signed a contract to release the interest cashback within 10-12 business day. Since October 2022, every month i have been following up via chat channel or call channel available in the application to get the same standard response “We are escalating your issue to concerned team”. The cashback for hundreds or may be thousands of customers have not been paid off by test money since march 2023. Even after multiple follow ups, the support team is saying “we have escalated your issue to concerned team” but i am sure there is no one at the Zest money who is concerned about resolving the cashback on time problem. In fact it could be their business model to keep the interest money of customers long enough to mint high interest on them . That is why the app has been designed such a way that EMI ll get debited right on time. Even they have option to pre pay the emi. They send notifications about the same too. But the app lacks basic visibility to provide customers with cashback status. If anyone has to know the cashback status they will have to go through the support team who themselves have no visibility to whatsoever or lack some basic training. 1 star for no visibility to cashback status 0 star for support team ### 1/5 — Destroys credit score, don’t use *2023-04-18, version 1.1.9* Please DON’T use Zestmoney. We pay our EMIs on time, they don’t. Your Credit Score would go for a toss for sure. Scared of this app now. I had maintained it as excellent for the longest time, all my efforts wasted in a few months. ### 1/5 — Very difficult to delete account *2023-03-25, version 1.1.9* App May be good but it’s very difficult to delete the account in case you want to. Onboarding is simple. But off boarding is super complex. It should be equally easy like onboarding. But not here. First you send a mail. They try to sell the app by telling all the features etc. then when you insist , they tell you one hidden place in app from where you have put a delete request. Once you place delete request, still you have to wait for couple of days to get one more mail where you have to confirm the deletion. What a stupid way to forcefully hold customer.a big thumbs down. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever. Don’t install *2023-03-24, version 1.1.9* These people are just worst. Don’t install this app. First they call to tell you that personal loan in sanctioned and within 48 hours we will disburse. Then slowly they will keep asking to give documents even when you are an old customers. They asked for KYC DOCUMENTS and then bank statements and they asked to delete the autopay and create again. All this when you are an old customer of the app. All customer executives tell you is the issue will be solved in 24-48 hours. And it keeps on going like this for weeks. After that they have the guts to cancel the application on their own without any reasons. All this is negatively affecting my Cibil as there it will show as enquiry. It is second time I trusted this app and got fooled to apply and wait like an idiot. If you have any urgency look elsewhere as these people are highly unprofessional and only doing timepass. ### 1/5 — Fake Cash Back offers *2023-03-20, version 1.1.9* I had purchased iPhone by using 5000 rupees cash back offer in October month by Reliance Digital store. As per terms cash back will be credited after 3 EMI but I already done with 4 emi and till the date I don’t receive any cash back. When I try to resolve issues by zest customer care they were just giving hope week by week but not let me confirm about when the cash back will be credited. Same issues was faced by many people and they left their hope. Extremely suggesting to everyone not to use this zest service, it might be scam or fake offers. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Without checking the app recovery agent visited my house *2025-03-08, version 1.01.436* There were few loans running on my account with Zestmoney with DMI finance and repayment was regular before due date but I was constantly getting amount due message from DMI finance on messages and also on whatsapp and they didnt check that payment was already made. For this month also I repaid the amount due on 4th March but still I received message from DMI finance that amount is overdue and please pay immediately. One person from DMI or zest money came to my house today for recovery. It was pathetic to see the recovery person in front of my parents, although I have always paid the due amount before due date. I wont recommend this app to anyone as they dont check the application also where everything is clearly mentioned what is due and when it is due and if you also want zestmoney person to visit your office then use it I have closed the relation with zestmoney today after seeing this that after repayment also you guys sent recovery agent at my house, ### 1/5 — Worst service in my entire life *2024-10-31, version 1.01.436* Im using this app since more than 3 years and taken loan and closed over 5/6 times and for now they have given me offer for another and I applied. after that the app was asking to do kyc again and once done they says we cannot provide loan reason is unknown. talked several times with customer care they says will check and call back for the last one year i haven’t received any callback from them so deleted the app and recently logged in again and checked still the app was showing to update kyc now im deleting my account permanently Worst ever customer service they will never provide what the customer want on time better to go for any other apps 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 ### 1/5 — Worst app *2024-09-22, version 1.01.436* When u install the app it won’t give otp to login( it shows otp failed). My emi is something like 2.8k they debit 3.1k every month & they say excess amount will be refund. It’s been 6months I was asking my refund. They were telling 6working days, it’s been 6months already. Auto debit, zest money don’t even know what is auto debit. 5th is emi date & they will be stay dead till 6th & auto debit will happen on 6th. I don’t why they stressing customers. My sincere request to all new customers. Guys go for some other company. This idiot make you stressed & they were like it’s not a problem & all Worst service I ever experienced. Don’t go for zest money🙏🙏 ### 1/5 — Total disappointment *2024-02-12, version 1.1.12* I gave 1 star because there is no option to give half star or zero star. There was 97k credit limit in my account, suddenly they blocked my credit limit. Calling there customer service is more pathetic experience, as their executives can’t even understand the issue and reads the script provided to them. I had always paid my EMI’s on time but still they put the blame on system that system evaluates the account. Whereas I haven’t taken loans with other bank institutions outside zest money. I have to place an order but they blocked the limit and not even providing any valid reasons for it. I would suggest everyone to not use this app and uninstall if you have already installed as it won’t support at the time of your need. ### 1/5 — Fraud app *2024-02-06, version 1.1.12* Zest money service and its support is a fraud. 1. In 2022 they incorrectly marked payment which impacted my score and contacted support several times but no resolution. 2. In 2024 I thought they improved their services and support but they are now worse. They are now doing payment frauds so don’t set auto payments. I recently used it again which i pre closed my loan transaction but they deducted the 2nd instalment amount and even interest cash-back was not credited. I tried to call several times and mail them but they are showing no response. What’s left for me is to file a complaint on RBI and lodge a legal case against zest money if they are not going to contact me within 24hrs. I took a loan of 15,000 which was issued from HeroFinCorp and paid in full and it showed closed in my account history. Later I found it is still showing Active from 8 months the date of closing from my end and hasn’t been updated in the portals. Due to this all of my cibil reports decreased drastically and when I tried to contact customer support, there was no help. I regret my decision to ever use this app. It’s more like a scam then a useful app. I recommend everyone to read this review and stay away from this kind of apps. While i took a loan its was there that my interest will be credited to my account as cashback. It now over 1 month since I paid my EMI. And interest is high. I have sent many mails every time same response. “ we will not be able to service your request right now. We regret the inconvenience”. Its like it auto generated message everytime. Worst experience ever. ### 1/5 — Worst experience don’t download this app *2023-10-31, version 1.1.12* i had a frustrating experience with Zestmoney. They initially increased your limit, provided a loan, and then increased it again. However, when i applied for a 29k loan, although you received a sanction letter, i didn't receive the amount. Customer support assured you it would arrive, but after a week, it still hadn't. that time i needed the money for medical expenses, so this was causing me significant stress. am now receiving messages from Zestmoney offering a personal loan of 178,000 rupees, but when you try to access it, the app is not working properly. It helped me fulfilling my several wishes. I always liked Zestmoney over credit card. Simple and easy. Suddenly last year my credit limit got blocked despite always paying due emi on time. Tried to solve the issue by contacting customer care but they couldn't help me. Now when Zestmoney is no more working for me i found other emi methods unpleasant. Waiting for almost a year for Zestmoney to unblock my credit limit.
