Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — Garbage app, fake reviews, poor concept *2025-10-16* I saw the ads for this app and was very skeptical, but reading the reviews gave me some hope until I actually downloaded it. I’m 100% convinced every positive review on here is an absolute lie, after about 15 items that were all 1000 miles plus away from me I got a notice that was all of the items that are currently listed on the app. The stuff that was listed was hot garbage with suggested values in the 100s and 1000s when its real value is under a buck. It seems that the app is more designed to steal your personal information then to actually have a barter or trade system. It’s a great idea but in practice people just wanna offload their garbage and expect to get diamonds and gold in return - rather than waste your time you’d be better off going to work overtime for an hour and spending your paycheck on what you actually want. **Developer response:** Hello, we appreciate the feedback. but a few things need to be clarified. Zeya is a growing marketplace, and in less active areas you may see items farther away or with uneven value expectations. That’s normal in early stage networks and something we’re actively improving with better location filtering and smarter matching. On pricing, barter works differently than buying. Some users overvalue items at first, but as activity grows, the market corrects itself. Also, we do not sell or misuse personal data, that claim is simply incorrect. Zeya isn’t about offloading “garbage,” it’s about unlocking value from things people already own. As the network grows, the experience becomes significantly stronger. When we let go of the old we bring in the new but anyways, in saying this to say that’s what this app did for me, a bonus point sustainability no waste, no waiting on apps and people to pay you, I found some cool stuff tbh and I’m loving it, also I stoped using tinder and that cured my swiping addiction just saying… great app congrats **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback :) Love this, you captured the whole idea perfectly. Most closets are exactly like that, we wear a small percentage and the rest just sits there. Zéya is about turning that unused stuff into something new, instantly, without spending money or waiting around. And the sustainability angle is real, less waste, more circulation, more value from what already exists. Also… replacing Tinder with swapping?
