From learning bopomofo to reading Chinese on their own. Zhuyin Reader (注音小讀者) is a bopomofo practice and Chinese reading app for children who are learning zhuyin, building character recognition, and starting to read independently. Kids practice sounds, tones, character-finding and stroke tracing — then put that practice to work on real stories and web pages. WHEN THEY HIT A CHARACTER THEY DON'T KNOW, THEY DON'T HAVE TO STOP AND ASK Open a Chinese web page inside the app, or import a PDF or TXT file, and Zhuyin Reader adds bopomofo annotations on top of the text and saves it to your child's library. They read at their own pace — one character, one sentence, one page.
