## What is ZiHu?

ZiHu turns a photo and your own words into a single, breathtaking image: every "pixel" of the picture is a character you wrote. From across the room it looks like a vivid, pop-art photograph — pinch in and it dissolves into thousands of lines of your private diary.
Pick any photo, write the memory you want to hide inside it, and tap Engrave. A high-performance off-screen engine samples the image and repaints it with your text, cell by cell, in the photo's true colors — producing an ultra-high-resolution artwork in seconds.
What you can do
Engrave: fuse any photo with your text into a text-as-pixels masterpiece.
Microscope: explore each piece with buttery 1×–50× zoom; long-press for a live data panel (density, payload, loop ratio, timestamp).
Archive: a clean, single-column gallery of every monument you've made.
Rubbing: transform any piece into a classic black-and-white stone-rubbing — positive or negative, with an aged-paper finish — and export it through the share sheet.
Private by design
Everything is created and stored entirely on your device. No account, no sign-up, no servers, no sharing of your photos or words unless you choose to export them yourself.
