## What is Zinumi?

Your sleep guardian. She makes sure you sleep.

Zinumi is the goddess of sleep, and she lives on your iPhone. She feels your day: energized in the morning, sleepy as bedtime nears, and furious if you stay up scrolling. Get the sleep you need and she wakes up happy with you.

FIGHT WHAT STEALS YOUR SLEEP
Pick the apps that keep you up. Zinumi blocks them at bedtime with Screen Time and gives them back when you wake up. Sleep on time or face her wrath.

DRIFT OFF IN A SCENE
Choose from 12 calming scenes with sound: Sky, Ocean, Rain, Forest, Lake, River, Mountain, Waterfall, Storm, Wind, Fire and White Noise. Leave one alone and the screen fades away so only the sound stays. Pause the sound without leaving sleep mode.

SHORTCUTS AND SIRI
Say “Start sleep with Zinumi”, wake her from Shortcuts, or add her to your Sleep Focus so she falls asleep when it turns on.

YOUR OWN SLEEP GOAL
A short quiz suggests how much sleep you need. Set your bedtime and wake time on a simple dial, and Zinumi shows how much more sleep you still need tonight. Naps count toward your day.

NO ALARMS, EVER
A gentle heads-up when it's time to wind down, and a quiet good morning. That's it.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account and no ads. Your schedule and sleep sessions stay on your iPhone.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-24

New White Noise scene. Start sleep and wake up from Shortcuts and Siri, or let Sleep Focus put her to sleep. After a long night, her Live Activity now shows how you slept instead of staying on “Sleeping”. Home stays usable while she wakes up.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-21

Tap the countdown on Home to change tonight’s bedtime. Zinumi now blocks your picked apps at bedtime, even when the app is closed. Live Activities clear when you wake, show one at a time, and fit Apple Watch and CarPlay.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-18

Zinumi now speaks Spanish, too. The Live Activity shows up 2 hours before bedtime and clears 30 minutes after you wake, and her waking animation is smoother.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-15

Zinumi now lives on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island with Live Activities. She moves more, gets angrier the later you stay up, and greets you when you join. AirPlay now plays the sound only, and you hold to wake up.

### 1.0.0 — 2026-10-09

No release notes.
