## What is ZipChest?

Got an archive you can't open? ZipChest opens it in one tap.

ZipChest is a clean archive tool, and **every feature is open to everyone**. Unzip as much as you like — unlimited files, unlimited size, encrypted archives included, files on iCloud or any mounted cloud drive included. Packing, encrypting and choosing a format work the same way. No subscription, no countdown timers, no "you've used your two tries".

UNZIP
- Opens zip (including password-protected and ZIP64 archives), 7z (including AES-256 encrypted), tar, tar.gz, tar.bz2, tar.xz, gz, bz2, xz, and iso disc images
- Legacy non-UTF-8 file names decode correctly
- Open archives right from Files, Mail, or any app's share sheet
- Browse before extracting: see the file tree and sizes, tap any file for an instant preview
- Extract everything with one tap, or select just the entries you need

ABOUT ADS
ZipChest is funded by a single banner at the bottom of the screen. If it gets in your way, the "Remove Ads" purchase takes it away for good — **it does not unlock any features, because every feature is already available**. Restore Purchases brings it back on a new device.

PRIVACY
Compression, extraction and encryption all happen on your device; your files are never uploaded to any server, and passwords live in memory only and are never stored. The app works normally in airplane mode — **only the banner at the bottom needs a connection**. ZipChest does not track you and never shows the "Allow tracking" prompt.
