## What is ZipSplit?

Stop chasing "Venmo me $30 for dinner."
ZipSplit lives inside iMessage. Snap the receipt at the end of dinner, send one message, and friends tap exactly what they had. Everyone gets a payment link in Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle, whichever they prefer.
No more group-text math. No more guessing what Sarah's wine cost. No more "I'll get you next time" that never happens.

HOW IT WORKS
Open ZipSplit in your iMessage app drawer
Snap a photo of an itemized receipt. Items, tax, and tip read automatically in seconds
Send the message. Everyone taps exactly what they had
Get paid via Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle in a couple taps

FRIENDS NEVER INSTALL ANYTHING
This is the part that changes everything. Your friends don't need to download ZipSplit. They don't need an account. They don't need to enter a phone number. They tap the message in iMessage and the claim screen opens instantly. App Clip on iPhone, web for everyone else. They tap what they ate, see what they owe, and get a one-tap link to send you money in whichever app you both use.
This means ZipSplit actually works on the first dinner. No "wait, can everyone download something real quick?" No three friends who never install it and never pay. Just send and done.

MATH THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
Most bill-splitters get the easy cases right and the real cases wrong. ZipSplit handles the awkward ones:
• Tax and tip prorated by what each person actually ordered, not divided equally
• Shared appetizers split evenly across the whole table with one tap
• Service charges and processing fees handled like tax (proportional, not flat)
• Partial items supported with one-tap ½ and ⅓ fractions, or claim exact counts on multi-quantity items
• Rounding residual goes to the host so receipt totals always reconcile to the penny
If you've ever paid for someone else's $40 cocktail because they "forgot," this is for you.

PERFECT FOR
Group dinners. Office lunches. Costco runs with the roommates. Vacation expenses. Parties with eight people and eight different Venmo handles. Anywhere you'd otherwise be doing math at the table or chasing someone for $25 three weeks later.
Heads up: ZipSplit needs an itemized receipt to parse. The total-only credit card slip won't work.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
ZipSplit builds the payment link for whichever app you and your friends prefer:
• Venmo: deep link with amount and note pre-filled
• Cash App: deep link with amount and $cashtag pre-filled
• Zelle: phone or email copied to clipboard so they can send instantly
Set up your handles once in Settings. Every future split uses them automatically.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
ZipSplit is built to know as little about you as possible.
• No accounts. No logins. No phone numbers
• Friends who claim never sign up for anything
• Live split links expire after 30 days
• Your splits save to your history so you can look back anytime. Delete one split or clear everything right from the app: both remove the data from our server immediately
• No marketing emails. Ever. We don't sell your data

PRICING
Everything is free during the beta: unlimited splits, saved history, all of it. Friends you split with are always free.

Monthly: $0.99/month. Yearly: $7.99/year (about $0.67/month).
